Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Tioga County

Great stay! the home was clean and comfortable and exactly as described. Very dog and family friendly! Donna was very responsive and kind. We had a great trip and appreciated having a convenient, clean place to come back to every day.

This place is truly unique. It's a get away space for musicians who share it when they aren't using it. The place has been built up and settled in. It's gorgeous, the location and the barn architecture. But it's not uptight. It feels like late 60s - early 70s rock and roll, or like classic country music. Maddy's family has a phenomenal record collection and the stereo sounds SO good. The albums we brought came to life there. There's also an excellent book collection, lots of rock and music stuff but also philosophy, literature, eco books, and classic kids book (lots of kids books and a massive toy trunk with toys for kids of all ages!). The kitchen has got pretty much everything you need, and all the basic amenities and appliances. Around about are lots of area lamps, interesting hangings, colored glass, rugs, throws, and well cared for house plants. Finally, the pond and field have not been chemical killed. So, there are lots of birds, frogs, fish, and nests.

Loved our stay at The Trestle House--was a cozy inviting home with everything we needed. Tammy was immediately responsive and flexible to our needs. We stayed for Cornell graduation 2025 and it was the perfect spot to easily go back and forth to campus for a quick change in between all the weekend activities, but also out of the congestion of downtown Ithaca. Brookton's Market was steps away and folks there were friendly and had all we needed. The kitchen was well appointed and the sitting area and bedrooms were comfy. Any elders best suited to stay on the main level as the stairs are sturdy, but they are steep and narrow. We loved our stay and will be our first choice for future trips to campus. Thank you Tammy!

We stayed at Virginia’s for my daughter’s graduation from Cornell. Although it was a bit of a drive it was well worth it! We had plenty of room for all of the extended family to stay with us, it was a great space for hosting a small gathering with her friends, and Virginia was an amazing host who even surprised us with something special for my daughter for her graduation! I highly recommend her place and if I ever returned to the area, I would absolutely stay here again. When we weren’t doing graduation activities up in Ithaca we really enjoyed hanging out in the house playing the video games sitting on the deck and eating together as a family at the large dining room table. I cannot say enough great things about the place or the host! It was a perfect place to stay for my daughter‘s graduation!

Very cute farmhouse. Kitchen was extremely well stocked. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Exactly what we expected/wanted. Very peaceful surroundings. Make sure to explore the grounds!

Lowell’s place was absolutely perfect !! Pictures do not do the house or property justice. This is certainly our new go to place to stay when visiting friends in Newark Valley. Thank you Lowell

If you are a nature-lover and like privacy, this is the place for you. We saw deer everyday and walked on trails with beautiful views. Bobbi was always available and kept us informed. We were so close to the state parks and finger lakes, as well as, places to eat. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay again. Thanks Bobbi!

This is my 3rd summer staying at the house and it’s always perfect. The home is inviting and comfortable and perfect for what we need. It’s located in a great location for anywhere we need to go in Ithaca and we are so happy we found this house back in 2023 because we’ve never been disappointed. Thanks again for everything!

Jagadish's house is amazing. We stayed here for my daughter's graduation and love it. It is spacious and very clean. The gardens are stunning.

When we walked in the airbnb, I though someone was playing piano next door, but there was a soothing piano playlist on the TV. The heat and air was already on and set at a comfortable temperature, as well, which was lovely because it was cold and rainy. There were books with suggestions on what to do around the area. We had everything we needed here, and we were very thankful that bottled water was provided! We actually ran into Christopher and he is such a friendly man.

Great location around lots of amazing hiking. The apartment felt private and had everything we needed. Shower pressure was amazing and we loved relaxing in the hot tub after a full day of hiking. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Our stay and at Glenn and Diana’s place couldn’t have been better - from the beautiful spacious loft with an awesome lake view to the location which was close to brewers, wineries, and the parks/trails we wanted to see. Not to mention how responsive, welcoming, and friendly Diana and Glenn were. They made us feel right at home. We look forward to another stay with them in the future.

We throughly enjoyed our time at Ron’s place. It was close to downtown, Watkins Glen State Park, several wineries and breweries. It was a short drive to Taughannock Falls State Park which in my opinion is a must see. We will definitely be back.

It is the second time we stayed at Michelle’s place and it is one of the most favorite locations for us. Caught bunch of perch and bluegill at the lake and enjoyed our tea watching the sunset. Michelle is a great host.

Great stopover place to stay and let dogs run in the giant yard. Got a good night's sleep. Left a shirt and Bronwyn was kind enough to drop it in the mail for me. Thank you Bronwyn!

Loved our stay at Allison's place. The lakefront location was unbeatable! Property was exactly as described. It was very spacious and comfortable. We hope to return!

We loved our stay here. Even our five year old was willing to sit and watch/listen to the birds on the beautiful porch!

We loved our stay at Jason’s cabin. It was so beautiful and cozy. Would definitely recommend it to anybody who wants a getaway.

My partner and I loved our stay in one of the little cabins! The space was cute and cozy with a short walk to the main barn that contained the full bathrooms. They also had coffee and breakfast there in the morning. Other highlights were feeding carrots to their mini horses, friendly hosts, and a beautiful view of the stars at night. We will definitely be coming back!

This was our second time staying here and they didn’t disappoint! We had such an amazing weekend. I told suzi it was my girlfriend’s birthday and she went above and beyond for us. Not only do we love this place but I feel like we made friends with these guys and literally couldn’t think of a single thing they could do better. 10/5 stars without a doubt. Look forward to going back in the future!!

Very clean, which is very important to me. Location is on a side county road for privacy but 13 minutes or so to Ithaca commons. The hosts were nothing but nice and handled anything I needed with grace, which I did not need much. Nice amount of space and fire pit outside. New and modern inside. Cozy, clean and serene, job well done.

It was quite the operation! They had smores kits, free breakfast, and animals to feed and pet! Carrots and care kits provided. The hosts were SUPER friendly and created a homey atmosphere. Would visit again :)

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this Airbnb! The property was stunningly beautiful and offered so much privacy—it felt like a hidden retreat. The fireplace was a perfect addition for unwinding, and the frozen pond added a magical touch to the wintery atmosphere. Christine was also so helpful and responsive to all of our questions and inquiries. The quarters were impeccably clean and incredibly cozy, making it easy to feel right at home. The hosts’ friendly dogs were such a treat—they greeted us warmly and made the experience even more special. Overall, this property is a dream for anyone looking to relax and recharge in a serene and picturesque setting. We can’t recommend it enough and are already looking forward to returning!
