It offers a simple breakfast for 550 yen (your choice of drink and toast). The facility's check-in time is from 2 PM to 8 PM. Please note that we cannot accept check-ins after 8 PM. River Oto in front is a unique river with its hot spring sources and you can enjoy an open air bath (small one in the summer and a big one in the winter). You can also dig your own mini bath in the summer for a little bathing under the milky way. Near to Kumano Kodo trail, Kawayu is one of the best destinations for those who want to know more about the area's history and culture and enjoy its nature.

The room is Japanese-style dormitory room with bunk beds. Each bed has a reading light, outlets and a storage box for valuable items.

Our private room features 1 or 2 futon beds on traditional tatami floors. The shared areas include bathrooms, dining space and a work/lounge/library area. The hostel Saruya Hostel opened in 2015 in Fujiyoshida, a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji. We renovated an 80 years old wooden house to create a place that allows our guests to experience time and space through carefully selected art, design and objects, mixing traditional Japanese inspiration with modern aesthetics.
