We took the road A16 via Rouen, it was so much quieter than travelling nearer Paris. We arrived around 4pm the house looking great in the afternoon sun, it looked freshly painted, the house is in great condition, the beds were very comfortable, all the bathrooms looked brand new, the kitchen was perfect. The window blinds were a good send, allowing in cool breeze whilst giving you security. Plenty of space to park your car and turn it around, being behind electric gates was a real bonus. It’s a 25 minute walk to the bridge so close enough to view the great sites in Blois. I would throughly recommend staying at Claire’s great house. If we return to the area we know where to stay. We were greeted very warmly by Justine. The accommodation is very clean and of good quality and it is close to Amboise. The breakfast provided by Justine is a real plus. Beautiful accommodation with a fenced garden for the dog. We'll be happy to go back!

Yves, Katia: the most genuine, kindest and cutest host we have ever seen.The house is spotless, the bedding is comfortable, the cleanliness is high, and the house on the second floor effectively separates the space to play different functions, and each link can show the owner's good hygiene habits and literacy.The host prepared a rich breakfast and snacks for us, gave us a detailed explanation of how to use the facilities and equipment, free pick up and drop us off at the station, he didn't treat us as just renters, totally treat us as friends, take care of us with everything possible, make us feel like home, thank you!There are people traveling to the small town of Blois, go and experience this brand new feeling, believe it!

Very well-equipped house. Gregory is very responsive. Guidelines are available and very clear. The little extra, the possibility of having bread delivered, pastries at home in the early morning.

Fabienne is a great host. She is very helpful and always quick to reach. The house was as described and very well equipped. Plus a beautiful garden plus terrace. We were also able to enjoy a welcome gift. A big plus: we could store our bikes in the garage. We can recommend the house without hesitation and thank Fabienne again.

We had a lovely family weekend. The house is very nice, spacious and peaceful, well-equipped, a splendid view with a very nice jacuzzi. The top self check-in and the instructions are clear to get to the right destination.

We were welcomed by Christine and her husband to this lovely cottage which adjoins their home and is set in a peaceful spot. Christine was quick to respond when contacted prior and during our stay and throughout our stay was discrete. The accommodation is very comfortable and well equipped, Christine also provided sufficient bread, jam, milk etc. for breakfast throughout our stay. The cottage is centrally located to visit chateaux’s in the Loire and Cher valleys and a highlight of our stay was a day at Zoo Parc de Beauval. We very much enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in recommending a stay here

If there is one address to know, it is that of the Domaine des Caves Auger. This is my favorite this summer. We stayed with my two daughters in the estate apartment with a small kitchen. The place is sublime and particularly quiet, the bedding is top quality, the warm welcome, caring, the site is impeccably clean, the pool and jacuzzi are particularly pleasant, everything is thought for your relaxation and your comfort with taste and refinement. Functional apartment, very well equipped. The plus: everything you need and much more in the cupboards. Very much appreciated. very welcoming and attentive hosts. Very well located accommodation, everything can be done on foot. We recommend it.

Florian's accommodation is very nice, the rooms are really spacious and the bathroom too. The kitchen is well-equipped, you feel at home. The accommodation is 10 minutes' drive from Tours train station and the area is very peaceful, with lots of greenery. Communication was very responsive with Florian and we thank him for his hospitality. I recommend it!

great place to stay in Montrichard, Remy is a fantastic host and we had everything we needed. Lovely breakfast and pool to relax around, the town is a fairly short walk and there are 2 wineries along the road!

This B&B is very sweet, an old interesting building on the road to Fontrevaud (not actually in the village) with a delightful garden where I heard turtle doves purring. Magical. Geraldine was very helpful lending us plates & cutlery so we could picnic in the garden. She couldn’t speak any English but we got by with my awful French! Her daughter speaks English and able to help with any enquiries. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheese, bread & pastries. Comfortable large room with a spacious bed. We did ask for the bed to be set as a twin which didn’t happen but in the end the bed was fine for us. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Finally, a vacation where you can finally switch off from the stress of everyday life. Florence is a great hostess and you just feel at home with her. The estate is an oasis for the soul and Florence, with her very pleasant manner, is simply an excellent hostess. We had dinner together every evening and always had a great end to the day. Next time, we'll probably take 10 nights instead of 5. From the estate, you can wonderfully explore the Loire Valley in the surroundings of Tours, but also discover fascinating areas and places in the immediate vicinity, such as the famous rose village of Chédigny or the troglodyte villages. Anyway, I'll take my fishing gear with me next time. A clear recommendation for people who are finally looking for peace from everyday life is clearly the grandiose estate of Florence! Keep it up and good luck with your pergola ;-)
