Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Townsend

We had a wonderful time. Ramzi was available when we had questions. Very friendly. Cabin was clean and cozy. If you have never driven in hills before be prepared the roads are tight. The lookout by the pool is amazing and also clean. Neighborhood also clean and quiet. Everything was perfect as the pictures showed. One slight thing to update would be the hot tub cover as it looks as if someone or something stood on it and broke it. Still works just fine but it’s collecting water on the top. Thank you for a great vacation. :)

Although I spent more of my time out exploring in the Smokies, I had an amazing time during my stay here. It is conveniently located to the Foothills Parkway and GSMNP and not far from Sevierville, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The property itself was beautiful and very peaceful with incredible mountain and valley views from the front and back, as well as a charming and rustic interior, and everything that I needed was provided. Rules and instructions were fair and clear. The host was also kind, communicative, and responded to my questions in a timely manner. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

While we enjoyed our stay and everything was great. The one thing was not being able to control the thermostat. They did say we could message them and they would adjust it. I never did ask them to. But would've just rather had the ability to adjust it ourselves. But overall they were welcoming and very friendly.

We had a great stay! It was a peaceful location, but not too far from the hustle and bustle of the main towns. Our kids loved the indoor pool and it was great to keep them busy during some rain!

Convinent get away. Loved the experience and I read the directions on how to access the driveway.

There are 2 beautiful houses on the property which work perfectly for traveling with extended family and friends or for rental of only one of the houses. The houses are new and thoughtfully designed for family living and relaxation inside and out - the decks are huge and make perfect extensions of the living space! Children of any age would love the place and the back entrances of the houses are accessible for people with limited mobility. Our toddlers loved the creek running through the property and the waterfall and fire pit areas are marvelous. The kitchens were wonderfully stocked with dishes and cooking pots and pans - even an air fryer! There was an old style arcade video game mounted to the wall in both houses - fun! We made day trips to the mountains and enjoyed family dinners on the porches. This is the perfect vacation spot and we will definitely be sharing the location with others and coming back ourselves! This house was absolutely STUNNING! Every day the view was just amazing. Owners VERY responsive! Enjoyed the hot tub and unit was well equipped in kitchen and nice touch with starter supplies. We found beds comfortable and all 6 of us (adults) could find some privacy. Enjoyed the billiards and the fireplace on the balcony was the perfect backdrop to talk about our adventures. The road was a bit scary if you are afraid of heights and hairpin turns! We got more comfortable as the week went on but we were still reluctant to drive in the dark! The house was good location to Sevierville. Enjoyed Holstens for dinner. The main drag is only about a 25 minute drive. Gatlinburg was about a 35 minute drive. Smokey mountains NP about 45 mins from house . We saw 6 bears on this trip. 1 ran past us in the driveway and we got a good picture from the balcony. Be careful to lock the doors to your car! I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Maryville, TN. The location was easy to find. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. My host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, which made the experience even better. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area!

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and we had plenty of room. The location was perfect. You are close to everything in Pigeon Forge but it didn’t feel like it. It was quiet and not overly busy at the resort. Our boys enjoyed the pool and lazy river. You can see Dollywood’s fireworks from the balcony. We watched them 2 nights in a row. You could also see some of their drone show as well. If we travel back to the area we would definitely enjoy staying here again.

Great location in Seveirville. close to many attractions. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. James had local recommendations and communicated well during our stay. Will check them out again if we are back in the area.

this place was perfect for our 2 night pass through pigeon forge on our southeast road trip! its close to all the attractions of the town but also feels secluded and feels like youre staying in a cabin in the mountains. id highly recommend staying here or even checking out any of their other places on the property! look forward to hopefully staying here again in the future!

Pam's place was great for our visit to GSMNP. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, there were extra blankets, towels and dishes. We heard very little noise from upstairs and outside. There were so many books about the area and everything we needed to cook meals. We hope we get to return again!

Walter was incredibly responsive, friendly and helpful. The space was well maintained and had all the essentials in the kitchen and bathroom. There is a TV in both the living room and bedroom which was a great plus, but we were mostly out and about given that it is so central to all of the hiking trails. It was a great stay.

In love with this Airbnb! It was our little quiet space outside of the Gatlinburg chaos. We were so comfortable and relaxed and loved seeing the wildlife in the property (we saw four bears!!). Can’t recommend this enough.

What a wonderful condo! It was in a location that was close to everything and easy to find. The interior was immaculate and decorated to give you a feeling that you were “home in the mountains”. The property surrounding the condo was peaceful and the amenities were just a few steps away. James was very attentive to any question we had. We would recommend this condo to our friends and definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Family-Friendly Stay! We had such a great experience at The Higher the Hair 2BR Condo! The place was spotless, cozy, and perfect for a family stay — especially with a toddler. It felt safe, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The highlight of the trip? We actually saw a bear right in the parking lot! Such a cool (and safe) experience that made our mountain getaway even more memorable. The condo has a beautiful view facing the park and is in a peaceful, convenient location close to everything in Gatlinburg. Highly recommend this spot for families — we’d definitely stay again!
