We loved our few nights stay at Vincent’s place. Very comfortable bed, quite spacious room, great air flow and very grateful for the car space on site (hard to find in Bayeux). And great local restaurants and access to the Normandy beaches. Would be happy to come back one day 🙂

The lady met with us on arrival and was very friendly and helpful from the start. Gave a guided tour of the apartment. Lots of helpful stuff in the kitchen that we had forgotten, but are necessary. Having its own garage is a massive bonus when staying in a city centre. I would really recommend this place. Peter

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

This is the most beautiful apartment, ideally located in the old town just a stone’s throw from the Abbaye aux Hommes. Two spacious bedrooms, a lovely kitchen/living room and all so light and homely. Despite being so close to all the main attractions of the old town, the apartment is exceptionally quiet. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again. Thank you Karine!

It is wonderful in Guillaume's apartment. You feel right at home. Everything is beautifully decorated, super clean and it was wonderful to enjoy this great view there. It is very quiet and the bed is very comfortable. You can walk to the village or the beach in a few minutes. We will be happy to come back. 100% recommendation! Thank you for letting us be there.

My family of five (three of them young children) stayed here for a few days during a three week journey around Europe. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to visit the D-Day sites and this home made our stay 100% enjoyable. It is my favorite AirBnB I have ever stayed in. It was perfectly clean, had everything we could have thought we needed, and the location was absolutely perfect. Thank you for letting us stay in such an amazing place!

There is one *major* problem that you will see the moment you enter the property: you will **never** (ever) want to leave. You may even start thinking through how you can leave your day job and move to Port-en-Bessin. The home itself is amazing. The top of our list after over a dozen Airbnbs in the last few years. This is a beautiful home in a quiet and picturesque part of Normandy. This large holiday home is ideal for a large family with 2 en suite bedrooms and a spacious dining/living area. The property is within a group of approximately 6 large private holiday homes with their own private gardens. The horse paddock in the centre is a focal point with well kept, gentle horses. The communal swimming pool is well maintained and warm and the whole family enjoyed it. Elie was attentive and helpful and on site if needed. We met Isabelle on leaving who was gracious and lovely. A lot of thought has gone into this home. Our family had a wonderful stay. This area is remote but towns and various sightseeing is all within 30-60 mins drive. I would recommend to any family that want a quiet getaway. Thanks Elie and Isabelle.

Excellent location for the D Day beaches or just for a beach holiday in Langrune. The house is quirky and may not suit everyone because of steep stairs and the layout, but it worked fine for the four adults in our party. The baker and butcher in the village are brilliant and the general store and greengrocers are more than adequate. Cathy and Nicholas were very heloful with recommendations of places to eat. We had a wonderful holiday as a result.

This is THE MOST amazing location. Pictures do not do this place justice. It felt like we were staying in a Jane Austen novel. Christian and his wife were the sweetest, most patient and helpful hosts. The place was SPOTLESS, the atmosphere was completely idyllic. It was better than expected, we couldn't believe it when we arrived. This was the true, original kind of Airbnb experience. Personal, comfortable, local. Do not hesitate to book. We wanted to just stay and rest and hang out here for a week. Christian went above and beyond to help us when we had some issues with our car. They stopped by to say goodbye and see us off. It will be our favorite memory from our trip .

Our family of 8 found the home to be exceptionally great. The accommodation is amazing with lots of room including the kitchen, baths, dining room, and roomy bedrooms. The back yard is great with many nice touches. The separate yellow bedroom is great for being so close to the main house. We were greeted by Marcel and his family at check-in, they live next door so always easy to communicate with. Parking for two cars reserved directly in front of the property was a nice touch. The host added some nice additions such as cold drinks, coffee and even champagne!! Highly recommend for a family traveling together!

This was my third time at Emmanuel and Beatrice’s place. They have always been very kind to deal with and they strive to make my experience there better! They always respond to questions or concerns immediately and they were very understanding when a family health situation came up! I look forward to many more trips to their place with D-Day Patrons. We had a great weekend at Nicolas' cottage! The house is really spacious and very pleasant to live in. Nicolas came to welcome us and show us around the house. We really appreciated the little attention to our dog (bowl available and suggestion of walks!). We slept very well, in the quiet of the countryside. Thank you Nicolas for the kindness of his welcome!

The apartment is very cozy and well decorated. Accurate to photos. It has everything you need on site. The residence is very pretty and quiet. Marie Danielle is a very responsive and accommodating host. We had a great time.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is as advertised, clean, functional and super well located - ideal for a family stay (we were with two small children).

We spent one perfect week at Mathieu’s place and had an absolutely terrific experience! If you’re looking for an apartment in Bayeux, this is where you want to stay, hands down. The location is perfectly situated for walking to shops, markets, and cafes in the old town center and is also centrally-located for exploring the Normandy area. The apartment is inviting, peaceful, and clean with a comfortable bed. We especially enjoy livable locations where we can hear the church bells ring, and this was no exception at Mathieu’s place since the cathedral is just down the street (with a stunning view from the family room window). The bells add to the ambiance and experience, and fear not for they don’t ring through the night so your sleep isn’t interrupted. Only good things to say about this place!

Nothing to complain about, we were more than delighted with our stay. Everything was perfect. They really thought of everything. We'll be back soon...
