In a beautiful location in the middle of the forest is our lovely, cozy cottage, suitable for 4 to 5 people. The cottage is located on a small-scale and quiet park. The core values of the park are peace, nature and privacy. So you will find nature lovers and peace seekers here. At the park there are several amenities, such as a reception, outdoor swimming pool, tennis court and playground. It is located at the foot of the Lemeler and Archemerberg mountains and about 6 km from the cozy town of Ommen.

Our cozy bungalow is located in the middle of the woods of the Overijssel Vechtdal. The forest house has a beautiful sauna and a big (wild) garden of more than 1000 m2 where you can rest and enjoy all the flora and fauna. From the cottage you can walk, cycle and swim for hours. There are beautiful routes and you can easily jump in a canoe or enjoy a terrace in the lively Hanseatic town of Ommen. Welcome to our oasis of tranquility. Being located on a historical and green location in the Achterhoek, you can fully enjoy the nature. Centuries ago, a castle called ‘Huis Ulft’ was located on the premises. It used to belong to the sister of one of the Netherlands most important historical figures. Nowadays, the location still resembles a fairytale’s beauty. The cottage is comfortably equipped with facilities as a large private terrace, multiple unique bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen.

Even though we are in the center of Velp, our cottage is quiet. National Parks Veluwezoom and Hoge Veluwe are within cycling distance, and the city of Arnhem is 10 minutes away by car or public transport. Ideal for recreation or business travelers. . Privacy and hospitality are key words for us. You will have a light living room, a complete kitchen and bathroom, a bedroom, two more beds in a small loft, a veranda and a small yard. Within cycling distance of the Hoge Veluwe, Apeldoorn station and Paleis het Loo. Ideal location for mountain biking, running and cycling.

This makes the forest house very suitable for families who want to enjoy a comfortable stay. Due to the location, we do not rent to young people/groups of friends.
