We would definitely recommend staying. Fabulous hosts, beautiful annex and surroundings. We had a great couple of days staying, thanks for hosting us!

Lovely place to stay, loved the bedrooms that were different styles. Close to Whitstable and the use of the private lake was a nice bonus as we do paddled boarding. Perfect 👌

We enjoyed four nights at this lovely property. Big enough for two, enjoying mostly good weather, we could open the doors at the front and the side, to enjoy the beautiful views that are Mary’s garden. Although we had everything we needed, nothing was too much trouble for Mary, she, and Boo, were happy to give directions, best restaurants, bus routes etc. Although the kitchen was compact, there was plenty of fridge space for goodies bought locally , and of course the wine! Lots to do, easy bus into Canterbury, the Cathedral is a must. The Samphire restaurant in Whitstable was recommended and we enjoyed a lovely lunch there.

The host and family were really helpful, sharing, respectful and responsive. Bedroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. Had my own privacy with a shared bathroom full of toiletries and hot water. They permitted me to use the kitchen and offered hot drinks for free, with the use of their milk, sugar, tea and coffee. Breakfast wasn’t in the listing, but the host offered me wafers and biscuits with coffee before I left the following morning. Thank you to the host and her husband! I will definitely return if my work sends me out again.
