This pleasantly equipped holiday bungalow is situated in Maarn on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park. The house is situated in a quiet location and has a terrace and a large woodland garden. This pretty natural environment offers several possibilities such as uwalks, bike rides and visits to various cities and villages, castles, gardens and museums. Near to the apartment is the Henschotermeer, a natural pond in the middle of hills surrounded by white sandy beaches and green sunbathing area.

Enjoy the best of both worlds - experience living in a quiet peaceful chalet by the canal and the energetic vibe of Amsterdam (28km or 17miles away) Depending on mood & weather, you can enjoy lakeside activities one day and city tours or Amsterdam nightlife the next. The chalet is located inside a vacation park (Proosdij) 900m or 10-15 min walk from the main entrance. Direct access to it is only by boat or bike. This location is for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. From the houseboat you have a view of a nature-friendly bank that is ecologically managed by the local residents. You can view the many types of water birds and even the Kingfisher and the Cormorant come to catch a fish every now and then. The water is of very good quality and you can swim from the boat. You can also rent an electrically powered rowing boat from us to explore the area from the water.

The Polderschuur is an independent house for up to 2 people, with all the facilities you could wish for. On the ground floor you enter the cozy living room with kitchen. The bright, stylishly decorated living room is a great place to stay. Relax on the big couch with a good book or watch a movie or your favorite program on the TV with excellent sound system and radio. The kitchen has a fridge, dishwasher, combi microwave, pressure cooker and nespresso machine.
