Waterfront holiday rentals in Utrecht

wonderful spent pr days, after my work.... quiet space in short comfortable;).... unfortunately little of the environment seen, due to my work. I'm still curious about that

Very pleasant stay, close to what we wanted to visit.

We had four great days in the accommodation (three of us). The location of the accommodation is excellent, in a busy area and yet somewhat secluded, as it is above the harbor basin. The view from the roof terrace is super beautiful in the morning, as well as in the evening. Spacious apartment with space. In the kitchen block, a few things are missing (cutting board, sieve) and there is no real oven, only a large multifunctional device with grill function and microwave. The excursion destinations are super diverse and there is something for everyone (sporting activities on the water and outside), trips to Amsterdam or Utrecht, bike tours, museums... Catherine or the colleagues from the port office are always available during the day if you have any questions. Note: The accommodation can only be reached via an external spiral staircase. The apartment was lovely and cozy, with plenty of useful amenities that made our stay comfortable. The host was very kind and responsive, which we really appreciated. Overall, the place was clean and well-maintained, though the bedsheets could use a refresh. The beds are very soft (something to keep in mind depending on your preference). Despite these minor points, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again!

Great apartment, very neat and clean, comfy beds and spacious bath, cute terrace, nice kitchen and living area. We stayed here mostly to see Utrecht, so if that’s your plan, know that a Bolt or Uber ride to Utrecht Centraal is 25-30 Euros, and on Saturday afternoon it was over 50. There is a bus (B12) that goes to a stop on the train to Utrecht, which would be much cheaper if you’re timing is right. Check out the Ethiopian restaurant across the corner!

Apartment is just as advertised and is in a great location. Would recommend this.

Arthur's place is an airy, light, comfortable apartment on the top floor of a family home in the town of Hilversum. There are lots of places to eat and drink there; we found a wonderful Ethiopian restaurant. Being a 20 minute walk from the station it is the perfect base for visiting Amsterdam (or Utrecht) if you don't want to stay in the busy city centres.

We stayed in the apartment for 3 nights and felt very comfortable right from the start. The apartment has a nice balcony with large windows. It was generally very quiet and we slept very well. Everything was in a very clean condition, as previously described in the photos and text. Check-in and check-out was very easy and flexible. Maurits responded quickly and friendly to messages. Thank you very much for this really nice stay in Utrecht! Definitely to be recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay! After a long day of traveling, we greatly appreciated the quiet and beautiful surroundings, especially the extremely comfortable beds! The only issue we encountered was that the previous guests had left the downstairs windows open, resulting in a lot of flies inside the house. Esther's team tried to remove as many flies as possible before our arrival, and they provided us with an electric fly swatter to handle the remaining ones. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Amsterdam or the Abcoude area!

Lovely character home, very tastefully furnished, very helpful hosts. Superb location and a bonus of a pedal boot which was great to use in this location. We all had wonderful time.

We had great days at Richard's house! The location is excellent, nice and quiet and with the lake of course great for refreshing. We rented the boat and also spent a nice time on the water and the larger lake. The house has everything you need, air-conditioned rooms were perfect on the hot days. Sitting together on the terrace by the lake in the evening, great! You can't go wrong with the house and would book it again and again.

It's a beautiful place in a lovely setting. You will need a car or a bike to access public transport unless you are a very enthusiastic walker

We had a wonderful stay at José's. She was flexible and very welcoming. The accommodation is very nice, very bright. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and hearty. And finally, the setting is exceptional: Vianen is a great place. I highly recommend you to visit Vianen and stay at José's!

Nice, quiet stay in nature. Great to unwind and enjoy a little wellness. Sauna and Whirlpool worked well and the introduction from Peter was easy to understand and follow. There s bikes to lend at any time, the vacation home is conveniently located close to Putten. Thanks a lot for a relaxing stay.

We had a really nice stay at Nicolette's place. Perfectly situated to visit the "Groene Hart" of the Netherlands or go to Gouda, Utrecht… by bike. The house is on the beautiful river Vecht and is in a very quiet environment. Nicolette is also a very friendly and flexible host

The accommodation was excellent – it had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The garden was a real highlight – super cool and perfect for enjoying the outdoors. Everything was clean, cozy, and just as described. Jean Pierre was a great host – friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily come back!

Mandy was such an accomodating host and was very responsive to our communication. We really enjoyed our stay at her quaint abode which was promixal to everything you will need (Grocery, Bars, Restaurants, Bike Hire etc). It was fully equipped for our nearly week long stay and Mandy had really nice recommendations for places we might require. Definitely would recommend staying at Mandy’s and looking forward to staying again when I’m next in town.

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly friendly and warm – you felt welcome from the first moment. The breakfast was excellent and prepared with a lot of love. Our little son also felt completely comfortable, which is particularly important to us as a family. We really enjoyed the time and will definitely return. See you soon! A very comfortable stay in a mix of historic and modern surroundings. A lot of steps but not unexpected. Close to amenities. Host responded quickly to inquiries. Overall, a lovely stay!

My family of four stayed at Max’s place for four nights. The location is great, with just about an hour’s drive to many popular destinations in Holland. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and we will recommend it to our friends and family if they visit Holland in the future.

We loved everything about ok Linda's place. The apartment is bright, clean, and beautifully decorated. The space isn't big but it feels roomy and comfortable because of how well it's organized. The building is beautiful and in a wonderful quiet location with a very short walk to everything in the old city. Linda was amazingly helpful with recommendations, and she helped us plan some local travel and navigate the train strike. Absolutely lovely experience all around.

A lovely few days spent in Hilversum! Lots of great restaurants and easy walkable access to Hilversum train station. Pieter’s place was cosy and clean. He had all the amenities from a hairdryer to a coffee maker! It looked exactly like the photos and it was even next to a lovely park which was great for walks! Also directly next to a restaurant which overlooked the park and lake which was beautiful! Would stay again. Thank you Pieter!

The very best was the private garden (for our sole use), Conny's chickens, breakfast in the garden, the fire bowl and Conny's friendly care. When we told her that it was very expensive in the restaurant, she served us a menu in the garden, delicious! We couldn't have wished for it to be more beautiful and better.
