Monthly Rentals in Val Mara

We wanted somewhere near the lakes, between Italy and Switzerland, and we found it. Do not expect a nice place downtown, close to everything. But with a car, you can easily move around and explore the whereabouts. Italian spoken anywhere in Lugano and english and maybe other languages. Not far from supermarkets, easy to find spots with "too good to go" food (and good stuff, believe me) and in case you find everything expensive, take a short ride to Como, by the italian side (you will not regret it, very good to buy groceries). Feel the air and enjoy your stay, definitely a very pleasant spot. Fabio and Inna are great hosts, will solve any problem right away. Too short for five days, stay a week if you can. By the way, we even changed the period of our stay (few days ahead) and that was no problem at all. Just go!

Excellent accommodation very well renovated and very functional. The bedrooms are relentless as well as the shower rooms. Kitchen level, it has all the necessary equipment for a family holiday stay. Free public parking available in the village and not far from the accommodation. The attentions of Eleonora and her mom were exquisite. We would definitely recommend this lovely experience.

I really enjoyed the peaceful stay with Karin. The apartment sits in a quiet residential area with only a small access road immediately outside for local residents. The main road up the mountain is a few streets away and inaudible. The apartment itself is smart, tidy, without clutter and felt spacious for the size. Two sizeable windows can be completely pulled opened which really gives the impression of being connected to the wonderfully green mountainous surroundings. The view from the windows is exactly the one shown in the advertisement and felt glorious as the sun shines through the windows throughout the day. I appreciated the shower - a very variable experience I find in rbnbs. The water pressure is perfect and the shower is spacious. Karin was very friendly, responsive and provided helpful advice for getting around the local area. The village of Arogno is charming and 10 minutes walk. I can definitely recommend staying at the apartment and look forward already to my next trip.
