In short, a beautiful apartment in beautiful surroundings! This is hands down the best airbnb we have been in. Sophia was very helpful and always responsive. We had a very comfortable stay.

Cornelia’s place was great. The attention to detail in the apartment was divine. Her husband was very helpful when we arrived and such a joy. Will definitely be coming back next year!

Die Unterkunft bietet einen unvergleichbaren Ausblick auf den Comer See. Wer Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe abseits der durch Touristen überlaufenden Orte am See sucht ist hier optimal aufgehoben. Der Weg dorthin gleicht einem kleinen Abenteuer, welches Dank der Wegbeschreibung gut zu meistern ist, sofern man sich der Herausforderung italienischer Straßen stellen mag. Fußläufig ist die Unterkunft nur erreichbar mit zeitlich sehr grosser Aufwendung und körperlicher Fitness.

My wife and I couldn’t believe what we were seeing as we drove up —absolutely stunning views that set the perfect tone for our stay. The drive to the home alone is worth mentioning, with breathtaking scenery all along the way. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately impressed by how spotless everything was, and the view from inside the home was just as incredible. The space has a modern cabin feel that was cozy and stylish. It’s incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect place to truly disconnect and unwind. Everything was comfortable and well-maintained; we didn’t have any issues during our stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and made it clear they were available if we needed anything, which made us feel even more at ease. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with access to nature, there are some great hiking and biking trails nearby. We highly recommend this place and would definitely come back! Von unserem wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Janas und Stefans Wohnung können wir nur Gutes berichten: alles sah aus wie auf den Fotos, tipptopp sauber, in allen Bereichen bestens ausgestattet, sehr durchdachte Details, liebevolle Deko, Tiefgaragenstellplatz. Eine Mappe für alle Eventualitäten mit sehr ausführlichen Beschreibungen ist vorhanden. Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants (leider gibt es keins in Schmitten selbst), dafür einen Supermarkt. Und der Blick vom Balkon ist einfach nur grandios. Da nimmt man auch die viertelstündlichen Glockenschläge der Dorf-Kirche gerne in Kauf. Jana und Stefan sind supernette Gastgeber. Alles hat super gepasst - wir kommen gerne wieder!

Believe the hype! Perfect place to stay for our family of 5 (5 yr old, 3 yr old, 1 yr old). Sabine went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable after our travel from the States, going as far as to grabbing us a few groceries so we wouldn’t have to go out the night we arrived. Sabine’s place was clean and had all the things we needed including a crib, high chair, changing table and toys for the kids. The location was perfect and a close walk to the bus stop and the port. We were only a quick boat ride away from Lucerne and other major towns. Also a block or two away are a small grocery store, butcher, and great bakery. Book Sabine’s place, you won’t regret it.

Wonderful place to stay! We were there with a baby and it was still great to visit. Matthias is a great host! One thing you want to consider when traveling there - the last part of the road should be done in a daylight, we did it in the evening and it was very foggy, so we couldn't see a lot driving uphill, but we managed anyways.

Comfortable and clean apartment with very friendly and helpful hosts. We’re very grateful for their suggestion to drive through the Gottthard Pass on our way from Altdorf to Lake Como - such a scenic drive! Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Alles wie beschrieben. Trotz Schlüsselkasten sofort persönlicher Kontakt. Gemüse und Kräuter im Garten. Man konnte für den eigenen Garten lernen. Super.

Our stay at Janine‘s home was beyond anything we could have imagined. The setting is heavenly. We hardly wanted to leave the house. The surrounding area is absolutely amazing for hiking, which was the purpose of our trip. Janine greeted us when we arrived and spoke with us in perfect English, which was very helpful. Janine was helpful all throughout our stay giving us hiking recommendations as well as local eateries! The pictures on the website absolutely do not do the home justice. Every single person we met in the area was beyond kind and friendly.

Spectacular location and a house that matches.. we had a lovely time, very well designed and built house, takes fully advantage of the beautiful scenery out side, highly recommended.. PS.. this applies for only during May-June ‘25 as the road in front of the house is getting repaired, it is important to note that there is only walking access to the house. This means that guests will need to carry their luggage for certain sections of the route from the parking lot.. just to provide clarity there is no option to drag your wheeled luggage to the house, it will need to be carried. Just wanted to provide this clarity as I thought this was assumed by us.. although the host had communicated to use about the access but this aspect was not clarified.

Sehr schönes und geräumiges Haus. Äußerst liebevoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt einfach an nichts. Es gibt viele gemütliche Sitzplätze, Spiele und sogar ein Klavier. Wir haben mit unseren vier Kindern die grosse Terrasse und den schönen Garten mit Kräutern, Erdbeeren, Johannisbeeren und Kirschen genossen. Wir konnten sogar einen Steinadler beobachten. Josef hat uns tolle Tipps für abwechslungsreiche Ausflüge in der Surselva gegebe. Und da gab es viel zu entdecken: Alphornbläser, Murmeltiere, Wandern, Rodelbahn, eine Eselherde, moderne Kunst, eine Prozession und mittelalterliche Kapellen. Kurzum: Wir können das Haus wärmstens empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder. Danke vielmals für alles Josef!!

Yves and his family were so responsive. Their property is so peacful with a fantastic view and many places for serene photography We loved hainv an entire home at our disposal. It's clear they put a lot of love into this home. The valley here is one of the most beautiful we have seen. We loved just sitting.

We had a lovely stay at Riad’s - easy check in, extremely clean home and a very responsive host. We really appreciated the amenities, which included a washer, dishwasher and a Dyson hairdryer among others (have to note this in particular, as many hotels have weak / inefficient hair dryers, so to have a Dyson while traveling, as at home, is a game changer). Pictures do not do the view justice - the lake and surrounding mountains make for a lovely milieu. Highly recommend & would love to return someday!

Die Unterkunft war wirklich wunderschön und teils richtig niedlich eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin hat super geklappt. Man sollte sich allerdings bewusst sein, dass der Weg zur Unterkunft stark von einer normalen Straße abweicht. Man fährt etwa 20 Minuten über sehr herausfordernde Wege. Wer die Natur liebt, wird dafür aber mit absoluter Ruhe und einer traumhaften Umgebung belohnt.

Great flat. It is close to bus stops (2 minutes) and the train station (10 minutes). Very walkable. Grocery store is next door so easy to plan meals at a moments notice. Many hiking trails within a few stops.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Wunderschöne Gegend und die Bergbahn gleich in der Nähe. Die Wohnung ist top und bietet viel Platz. Nicole hat uns super begleitet und war stets auf Empfang bei Bedarf. Das Restaurant Marina ist nur 4 Gehminuten entfernt und bietet feine Gerichte, wenn man mal nicht kochen möchte. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Merci liebe Nicole.

The apartment has some of the best views of anywhere we have stayed. Spectacular mountain scenery for relaxing in the evenings. A fantastic location to be based for hiking the Liechtenstein way for a week. All amenities you could need are provided. Bus stop 1 minute from the apartment to bring you to Vaduz with easy connections to everywhere, or Malbun in the other direction. We did not meet Sigi but she gave clear instructions and was responsive to all of our questions.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem idyllischen Airbnb in den Bergen bei Lake Lugano. Das kleine italienische Dorf strahlt Ruhe aus, perfekt zum Abschalten und Entspannen. Die umliegende Natur mit ihren Bergen ist atemberaubend, und es gibt zahlreiche Möglichkeiten für Wanderungen und Spaziergänge. Das Airbnb selbst ist makellos sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet – ein perfekter Ort, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen. Wer Ruhe, Natur und italienische Dorfidylle sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!
