We were pleasantly surprised by the little community there and especially the restaurant when we arrived rather late. Our hosts were very accommodating and pleasant. We would definitely rebook.

Small, very functional, single-storey house, very well located. Quiet house very close to the center and the beach. Very nice garden. Very good bedding in the bedroom. Alexandrine is very responsive, very pleasant and very helpful. Place to recommend

Privacy through upstairs living room, nice quiet garden behind house, everything I needed within walking distance. Getting a bike behind the house was difficult due to stairs, small bathroom, light living room.

We have had nice days in Palmiras charming house and garden. A very personal and nice accommodation. High standard on everything from kitchen to bathroom and beds. Palmira has been accommodating in every way and we can highly recommend a stay here. Quiet, private and close to walk to both the center, Houlgate and Cabourg.

This place is so peaceful and serene - it's soothing for the soul! It's in the countryside but still close enough to a lot of touristic spots so we could drive around easily to do sightseeing. Located on a beautiful horse farm, and the home was clean and renovated nicely. We arrived rather late and Gael waited for us, which we appreciated! Gael was very responsive and accommodating in general and we would stay here again if we came to this area.

Isabelle and Alain are the most wonderful, warm-hearted hosts you could wish for—so lovely and genuinely thoughtful. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home and incredibly welcomed. Their home in the beautiful Normandy region is a true gem. The space is filled with charm, comfort, and everything you could possibly need (and more!). From the soft cushions to the perfectly equipped kitchen and the peaceful backyard, every detail is cared for with love and intention. Normandy itself is breathtaking—a region full of history, natural beauty, and a calm that invites you to slow down and truly enjoy the moment. I found myself wishing I could spend every quiet Saturday morning there, just soaking in the peace. I super highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a magical getaway. Perfect in every way, close to the beach, easy to access, comfortable and smooth and easy communication with the host.

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

Comfortable and conveniently located apartment

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The view was amazing and the place had everything we were looking for. The host was very responsive when we needed to reach her. I would definitely recommend this place to others who are looking to get away from the city for a few days.

Thank you to Sébastien for hosting us in his very nice, large and comfortable home. Sébastien is very responsive and friendly. Too bad we couldn't meet, due to my late arrival. Sébastien takes care of his guests and knows how to welcome them (brioche, coffee/tea, milk, water and bottle of cider). Honestly, it's great. Plus, Sébastien reads the "Joe bar Team", so he has a lot of taste :-) Everything is there to have a good stay, and quiet. Perfect, especially for someone who works at night. Sébastien is very accommodating and I thank him again a thousand times for his kindness. I'll keep the address handy for my next visits ;-)

Very well arranged and very cozy apartment. The bedding is very good. Everything you need is there and you can start the stay with a minimum (coffee, oil, paper towels, etc.). A very clear file with all the necessary information is present. Aurélie is responsive and concerned about the well-being of her tenants. I highly recommend.

Excellent stay at Dominique's. The apartment is as described. The furniture, bedding and accessories are of very good quality. The decoration is very good, and the mirrors arranged opposite each other in the living room give a very nice effect which considerably enlarges the space. Bravo Dominique!

Beautiful views and well-catered. Check in was easy with Katrin who spoke very good English, which was good because our French isn't great! Cabourg itself is lovely and only a 5-10 min walk away.
