Very good quiet stay in Danila's accommodation. 20-25 minutes from Menaggio, several restaurants in the immediate vicinity and breathtaking views. We spent a wonderful week there with our dog. We recommend this place without a second thought. Danila gave us a lot of good advice and clear information to get to the accommodation

Vintage but very spacious accommodation, tidy, clean, including everything you need, both as a kitchen and as rooms (linens), televisions, washing machine, two bathrooms! Very satisfied!

We felt very comfortable in Velzo. The apartment is beautiful: Great cool stone floor, beautiful old wooden furniture, everything clean and lovingly furnished. The kitchenette is small but has everything you need. In the evening we ate on the small balcony (west side) and enjoyed the view of the countryside. The village is inhabited but quiet. Carla lives with her husband right next door, she was super friendly and helpful, we communicated in French. Upon arrival, she picked us up from the bus station, equipped us with vegetables from her own garden on the first evening because we could no longer shop and in between we could do laundry. We were traveling without a car and depended on public transport. The bus ran several times a day from Velzo or Grandola to Menaggio, where you can change trains to visit different places and beaches. In the evening it was very nice to get back to the quiet Velzo from the hustle and bustle of the lake.

Accommodation in the heights of the lake which allows you to be quiet and far from the monstrous crowds of the villages bordering the lake. Pleasant host who does everything possible to make guests feel their best
