All bedrooms and full baths are upstairs. There is plenty space to stretch out in the spacious living room. The full kitchen boasts an island w/ seating, a dining table and coffee bar. Only a short drive or boat ride to DT Natchitoches. No smoking. No pets. No parties Cameras on side door, deck and dock.

We had an extended family/friends trip to Natchitoches and it the Steamboat House was a beautiful historic home in the perfect location. The decor and amenities were professionally executed, with no detail overlooked. The kitchen was properly stocked for my husband to cook us a nice meal, and for another meal we all walked to Front Street. Perfection!

It was exactly what I needed to unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle. The home itself was cozy and comfortable, with smart features like Alexa controlling the lights, fans, and thermostat—such a convenient touch. Brad was a responsive and helpful host, always quick to answer any questions I had. One of my favorite parts of the stay was the daily visit from a friendly rabbit—such a sweet surprise! Miss Donnis place is a home away from home. it's very cosy and a nice place to relax. I love this place and when I visit Louisiana again I will book her place again. She was very understanding because my circumstances changed a lot in the last minutes of my trip so I thank her to make my exspirance more smoothly. Miss Donnis was very easy to reach. I hope if anybody is visiting Louisiana they use her spot. It's like a tiny house and I love it. Thank you again Miss Donnis and hope to see you soon.
