In the 400-year-old mill, this apartment was furnished with a lot of love. It has a modern open kitchen with adjoining living area, where a fireplace provides a pleasant atmosphere. Enjoy long summer days in the garden on the large sun terrace - surrounded by greenery and a large lavender field. This attracts crowds of butterflies and bumblebees in summer. In the cold season, make yourself comfortable in front of the fireplace, in the brand new infrared sauna or by the campfire.

Sheikh House "Living in a historic barn"

More than 20 years ago we bought the Sheikh House, a single house in the beautiful volcanic region of Vogelsberg. In the past, the farmhouse consisted of a dwelling house, a stable and the barn. We both worked in tourism and managed a holiday village for a long time. When we retired, we decided: This is not possible without guests! We have always dreamed of remodeling the old barn of our house – and now was just the right time.

Our 120 sqm apartment is located in a 4500 sqm garden, surrounded by nature, between Burgwald and Kellerwald. The garden was laid out by a landscape gardener 30 years ago. Here you can find peace and relaxation or make beautiful trips to Marburg or the nearby Edersee from here. The lake offers a variety of business opportunities. You can also start tours with our bicycles or hike and relax in our sauna in the evening.

Located directly on the edge of the meadow, there is direct access to nature and an indescribably beautiful view, which makes many sunsets an unforgettable experience. Our 2025 renovated vacation home is exclusively equipped and offers a top-class experience at any time of the year with the panoramic sauna and wood-fired hot tub.

Gardenview

You live in your own little house with private entrance. It has a toilet, sink and shower, sauna on request (€20 extra) and a small, beautiful garden. The living room has a comfortable sofa bed (1.4 × 2 m), TV, DVD and a good stereo system. There is another sleeping accommodation (2 x 2 m) in the upper area. It is a private household. We are happy to have guests and always try to provide a personal welcome.
