Monthly Rentals in Volney

This is my favorite place to stay in the area. Great location with easy access to Grayson Highlands or West Jefferson. The home is so cozy and comfortable - I feel immediately relaxed when I walk in the door. I love sitting on the porch in the evening, listening to the bull frogs and watching the fireflies. Or watching the fog rise in the morning. Simply a great place to stay.

My husband and I brought our two pups and we all had a blast! The arcade and retro gaming systems added a fun touch. Super close to Grayson Highlands, so that was a plus.

Our stay in the Mountain Cabin was great! The cabin location on the mountain and views were superb and the amenities met our expectations. The outdoor upper deck was wonderful for my pup to be contained and still enjoy the beauty and nature. We enjoyed the farm animals on the property as well as the deer and bunnies. Daphne, the Welsh terrier, was so intrigued by the yaks and the smells of the other country animals. We had two great hikes at Grayson Highlands SP including some interesting pony interactions/vocalizations at the park border fence, a fussy Texas Longhorn at the springs trail, and a morning hiking at New River State Park in NC at 221 , Mount Jefferson SNA for a picnic lunch, and of course a visit to Ashe County Cheese in West Jefferson. The drive to NC through the Grassy Creek area was so beautiful! Highly recommend this venture into NC as it's very close to Mouth of Wilson.

This was our first airbnb experience, and it may have spoiled us for future rentals. The home was as described, but more spacious and peaceful than an online post can depict. It was clean and comfortable. Caroline was so thoughtful with the extras. The starter pack of soap, paper towel, etc was generous. She even thought of things I would not have like q tips and cotton rounds. We would stay there again if we get the chance. Maybe next time we will get some sunshine. The area was beautiful in the cloudy drizzle, it must be outstanding on a blue skies day.
