Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Volterra

Cosimo and his mother Francesca were so lovely to deal with. There were a lot of personal touches which really made the stay, such as homemade biscotti, homemade jam and bicycles that we could use. They were more than helpful with their recommendations for places to eat and the apartment itself was beautiful. The only thing we weren’t keen on was walking back at night. There were a lot of men loitering outside the nearby shops. But other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Cinzia’s place was a wonderful little apartment. It had everything you could need and more for a short visit. We were able to get help finding a driver to the winery nearby, and she was very accommodating despite having an unforeseen issue with her shower due to her last guest before us. Besides that it was a great place very scenic and close to Florence. Would recommend to anyone looking to see the winery nearby or visit Florence.

Die Wohnung ist wirklich etwas Besonderes und hat einen ganz individuellen Charme. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und sehr genossen, dass wir in wenigen Gehminuten direkt in der Altstadt von Volterra waren. Absolut empfehlenswert!

We were kindly received by the parents of Simone. The house was very nice and large with comfortable bed, dining table and couch. Lots to do. We had a nice dinner in the town in the evening. We visited San Gimignano, Volterra and the next day Siena. All only 30 min drive. Perfect stay.

Alessandro’s place is the real deal—a true penthouse! In the U.S., “penthouse” sometimes just means top floor, but here it means an apartment with two massive sliding glass doors that open onto a spacious private terrace. We spent afternoons soaking up the sun and evenings relaxing outside after dinner as Florence cooled down—it was perfect. The location is also super convenient, right next to a tram stop that's only three stops from the city center. We had a wonderful time in Florence and would absolutely stay here again!

Stunning location, local shop for great quality fresh food. Only a short walk into the old town and the train station for excursions further out.

LOVELY, Spacious, Clean home with a beautiful view of the duomo. We loved our stay at Mary + Gio’s. Plenty of room to spread out, good size bathroom + shower. Fully stocked kitchen. The wash machine worked great! The fridge was very clean + lots of room. Comfortable bed. A pull out couch if you need it. We were here in June when it’s hot and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Mary + Gio gave us great recommendations for booking things in advance which was a life saver- we didn’t have to wait in any lines. They communicated up to our arrival with quick responses. Met us upon arrival to show us how everything works + share info about the area. He also carried all our luggage up the stairs which was really nice. It was walking distance to everything. It took 14 minutes to walk from train station to home. Me + my daughter were here and felt very safe in the home + walking around in the evening. If we come back we will stay here! A beautiful spot in a great location of Florence. Everything is in walking distance, from the train station to the Academia to the Uffizi, this is an excellent place to stay. We are a family of four and we arrived to find the pull out couch nicely made into a bed for our children. The place was spotless as well! The host is super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!!

Séjour incroyable dans la maison d'Eleonora. Nous étions 4 adultes et y avons passé 5 nuits. Tout était propre, confortable, très bien situé pour visiter le beau village de Radda in Chianti à pieds. Et que dire de la terrasse arrière avec une vue imprenable sur le Chianti! Nous y avons passé des moments mémorables. Nous recommandons fortement cet hébergement!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Lorenzo et Francesca ,dans un petit village paisible où les habitants sont sympathiques.Le logement est atypique avec tout le confort adéquat. Dépaysement garantie, avec un coucher de soleil magnifique et une région aux paysages sublimes... Merci à Francesca et Lorenzo pour leurs bons conseils. Valeria und Simone haben eine super schöne und saubere Wohnung! Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung bietet einen super Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Wanderungen und Ausflüge. Während unseres Aufenthaltes haben wir immer gute Tipps und Ratschläge von den beiden bekommen. Unser Hund hat sich auch sehr wohlgefühlt und da das Grundstück komplett eingezäunt ist, konnte er sich frei bewegen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Es war eine unglaublich schöne Zeit!

This air B&B was in a beautiful area of Tuscany with breathtaking views. The property had many areas to sit and enjoy the rolling hills.

Danke Pietro für unseren schönen Aufenthalt in deinem Zuhause in Casole! Wer die Chianti-Gegend in all seiner Authentizität erleben will, der ist bei Pietro genau richtig. Die Wohnung ist etwas abgelegen, dafür in der wunderschönen rauen Natur von Chianti. Von dort aus kann man viele Weingüter erkunden, aber auch wandern und schöne Sonnenuntergänge genießen. Pietro sehr freundlich und nett. Vielen Dank!

We loved our stay here. It is a beautiful home and a beautiful space. The only thing I would note for future travelers is the host speaks Italian and not much English. Communication prior to check-in was a little slow but ultimately very smooth. The host met us when we arrived and was very nice. Would 100% stay here again.

Room it's just like the pictures, checkin was really good, Lorenzo send all the details in advance. if you arrive to Firenze Santa María Novella you have to walk arround 15 minutes to the appartment. Quiet zone perfect to rest.

El alojamiento es mejor que lo que se percibe por fotos! Está muy bien equipado, es amplio y limpio. Carla es muy amable y está a disposición. Fue una hermosa estadía.

Federico es el anfitrión que todos queremos encontrar. Atento, amigable, responsable. Nos ha brindado información muy útil de Florencia que nos sirvió como guía y para optimizar los tiempos. El departamento es perfecto!!! Al llegar te sientes como en una " vera casa italiana". Todo impecable y con los detalles más mínimos increíblemente cubiertos, para una estadía genial. Gracias Federico, definitivamente en un nuevo paso por Florencia, volveremos sin dudarlo.

Das Ferienhaus und der Garten mit Pool ist wunderschön. Das Haus ist liebevoll im eingerichtet im Toskana Stil. Alles war sehr sauber und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und haben in den Betten sehr gut geschlafen. Benedetta und ihr Vater sind sehr liebe und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, die uns jederzeit unsere Fragen beantwortet haben und sehr gute Empfehlungen für Besichtigungen und Restaurants gegeben haben. Als unser Auto repariert werden musste ist der Vater mit uns in die Werkstatt gefahren und war bei der Übersetzung behilflich. Danke nochmals für die selbstlose Hilfe. Wir werden diesen schönen Urlaub immer als das kleine Paradies in Erinnerung behalten, das von sehr lieben Menschen geführt wird. Wir können es nur empfehlen.

Anna was a fantastic host, who treated us with the upmost respect and kindness. While her place is a bit difficult to find at first, once you're there, you're in one of the most beautiful scenes we've seen during our time in Italy. Also, it was close enough that we were still early able to travel into Florence each day we were there. Anna was so nice in providing us with breakfast each morning, which included apricot jam from her fruit trees and homemade bread. We would recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quiet place to stay outside of the busy city.

Las vistas son impresionantes desde todas las estancias, especialmente desde el balcón, que se convirtió en nuestro rincón favorito. La ubicación es perfecta, a solo unos minutos a pie de los principales puntos de interés. Apartamento super bien equipado, no echamos nada en falta, con todo lo necesario para cocinar. Las habitaciones son amplias y las camas cómodas. Mirko y su familia fueron unos anfitriones excepcionales. Sin duda, un lugar al que q nos encantaría volver!

Lovely stay in Tuscany! Patrizia had started a warming fire going for us in the fireplace upon arrival, as the weather was chilly and rainy. The house was very cozy, artistically decorated, and well appointed -- it made us feel very much at home away from home. Gorgeous views of Tuscany from the bedroom windows, and a well cared for garden which had lemons, rosemary, basil and many flowering plants. Patrizia was the absolute best hostess and provided for all our needs during our stay. There was plenty of room for everybody in the house, and there was even a lovely little kitchen which was fully stocked (salt, pepper, spices, coffee, milk, and more!). Note there is not an oven, but we were able to cook breakfast every day, and even a few dinner meals for our small group in the mini kitchen (there is a mini fridge which fit a lot of perishable food for its size!, and a small induction stove top). Thank you for the perfect stay!

I had a lovely stay at Diana’s place in Florence for a month. The location was perfect, the flat lovely, and she was a brilliant host.
