K domu přiléhá oplocená zahrada s posezením, houpačkami pro děti, grilem, udírnou a venkovním ohništěm. Dům je v klidné části ve svahu nad obcí. V místě se nachází obchod s potravinami, restaurace, půjčovny kol a lyží, zastávka hromadné dopravy a ski busů do Janských Lázní a Pece pod Sněžkou. Před domem je vyhrazené parkoviště pro dvě vozidla hostů.

U nás si můžete užít opravdu klidu, signál pro mobilní operátory je tu nestabilní, vhodné pro ty, co nechtějí být stále na příjmu. WiFi je v ceně ubytování. Nejsme sice blízko velkých lyžařských areálů, ale v poměrně dobré dojezdové vzdálenosti, Rokytnice nad Jizerou a Špindlerův mlýn cca 20-25 minut jizdy autem.
