Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Waikato River

I highly recommend Sherry's Airbnb! My friends and I had an amazing stay - it was so cozy and comfortable and we had everything we needed.

Well what can we say?! AMAZING! ❤️Antony & Yolanda’s house is simply BEAUTIFUL! The location is fantastic, a 2 min walk to the local supermarket/restaurants/bars & eateries. The beach also only a 2 min walk. We attended the Dawn Parade and it was such a luxury not having to worry about parking, everything really is on your doorstep. The house itself is lovely and spacious yet felt so cosy and homely. The hosts have put a LOT of thought and effort in to making you feel at home (and we did)! ❤️ From the cosy plush blankets, to the ping pong table (which was so much fun), everything was just magic! From our family to yours Y & A, a huge thank you! 😘❤️

Very beautiful surroundings and just a short drive into town. Plenty of space for our family. Host very responsive. Would recommend for a stay.

Exceeded all expectations! Super cozy and clean with so many thoughtful touches. Such a cold time of the year but when we arrived the house had been thoughtfully warmed up with the fire going to keep us warm! Stunning views and a private space. Anna is an amazing host, one of my favourite stays

This was a great place for us to stay for a weekend. It’s an easy location - close to beaches and town. A great coffee shop right up the street too! The house was lovely - lots of space, good heating, and really cool furnishings/art etc. We have two young kids and found it really family friendly too, including a high chair and toys!

This place was amazing! The view alone is spectacular! The whole house revolves around this beautiful view and it is stunning. This is such a beautiful part of NZ. The rolling hills, the mountain, the beautiful cattle pastures, the bike trails and more just add to this awesome area. My family loved this house. There was so much to do, the hot tub, the basketball court, the trampoline, the games, the grill, and more. This house is decorated very well the linen, the beds, the living room are all beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped. The yard is beautiful. Catherine and Megan are excellent hosts. They are very helpful and kind. We truly appreciated them sharing their little slice of paradise with us. Breathingtakingly beautiful place with a stunning view of the lake. The living room was huge and cozy, filled with clean energy flowing throughout the space. The fireplace was such a huge bonus, especially on a cold wintry night. Stuart was friendly, responsive and communicative throughout our stay. We will love to come back! 10/10 recommend!

Lovely location overlooking Lake Taupo and into the sunset. Spacious deck to relax, eat and enjoy the view. Helpful responsive host. Very clean and well equipped living areas. Lovely Millennium Hotel restaurant right across the street. Great location for a relaxing break.

Tastefully-decorated, self-contained unit (19 steps up) in a large home right on the water. Great view. Short walk to restaurants and groceries. Very nice and helpful hosts. The best part for us was they have a tandem kayak and direct access to the estuary. We had wonderful 3-hour kayak rides passing mangroves up the meandering river at the end of the bay.

This place is amazing and beautiful. The house is very well maintained and as it looks in the pictures. The pool was clean and big and nice, hot tub was also great. The house is very spacious and has a great speaker system. Check in was easy and you truly have the entire estate to yourself. My only negative feedback was on the golf course. I booked this place so I could play golf and the course is unplayable. Still had fun hitting balls around but it’s not been well maintained. Also, the bbq wasn’t clean enough to cook on. Everything else was great.

Great to deal with the host, just everything was perfect. Flexible check in and check out process with great communication. The place was spotless and beds are very comfortable. One of the best air bnb places that we ever tried. We will definitely come back again.

Absolutely blown away. Loved having the lake on our doorstep with an indoor spa to hop between. Hosts were excellent communicators and so welcoming! Our stay exceeded our expectations and we will most certainly be back!

Really beautiful place to stay, quite close to Hobbiton and Matamata. Nice distance from other houses if you're looking for a more private location. Caren is lovely and really responsive.

The most beautiful home. Space, style fully and equipped beyond many places I’ve stayed. Stunning, absolutely stunning location, you would never tire of the view. Hope to come again.

A cosy and quirky house with beautiful views of the mountain and lake. Des is a great host and the house has everything you need. My only caution is that the driveway is a bit steep and a touch tricky especially when wet. Would recommend.

Absolutely lovely! Everything was exactly like the pictures & genuinely felt like a home. Very warm & cozy with everything being pristine & spotless. Couldn’t recommend more & will definitely be back again!!

The property is beautifully presented, in a very quiet and picture perfect location. We had a wonderful time, and surprised ourselves with the good rest we all had. The living space and outdoor area are massive, and it is a very perfect location for a weekend away.
