Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Wailea-Makena

It was a great home. It was in a central location to get to all the places we wanted to visit. We loved to just walk around the area, great food, great shopping nearby!!

This home is extremely well equipped with everything you may need. Kitchen tools, speaker to play music, beach gear and towels, it's all there. The house has a beautiful garden and it's a quiet neighborhood. Cassie is very responsive and flexible. She gave us some great recommendations in the area. The location of the house is very convenient, centrally located on the island. Beds are comfortable and so is the living room. If we come back to Maui we will stay here again!

This house is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, with easy access to major destinations on the island. k Kitchen is fully stocked and bathroom is clean. The retractable roof shade is really nice! The host is friendly and nice to communicate. Hope to be back sometime in the future. Thank you so much for the accomodation!

Very peaceful escape in upcountry! The stars at night were definitely a highlight, I've never seen that many stars so clearly before. We opted to stay in most nights to avoid driving the winding road in the dark. Overall, the place was clean and very welcoming. Only thing I would suggest is to ensure the shower ceiling gets looked at. The cottage does not have air so it does show signs of mildew/mold. Not enough to bother us but something I wasn't expecting.

Scott was a helpful and very friendly host. He gave us a ton of tips and guides on what to do in Maui. His place is so close to the beach that it is highly recommended to walk to the beach early in the morning, around 6am, to get the most out of his location. His place was spotless and clean, with no issues. He has all the kitchen items you needed if you wanted to make a quick breakfast before heading out to the road to Hana, or to the national park! He is such a great host and I will be going back to him when I visit Maui again in the near future. As always, please start your mornings early! Around 6/7am the latest, because Maui is incredible during the early mornings. Scott has a ton of recommendations so he will help you with any advice that you need to really make the most out of your Maui trip. 5/5 stars for Scott and for Scott’s Airbnb. Pamela’s place is amazing! As a host Pamela was very welcoming and gave a great tour of her place. The view is beautiful and the pool and hot tub are perfect! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Pamela!

I don’t even know where to begin! We loved this cozy place! Felt right at home. Amy has very clear directions and a lot of info about the area. Made it helpful when choosing a beach to checkout, or place to grab food. Everything is labeled. She has beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler which all came in handy. Place very neat and tidy. Well organized. Beds super comfortable. It’s in a great location for those who are looking for something quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. Close to the Road to Hāna. The outdoor shower was a hit! Now my husband wants to install one in our own home! 😆Amy was extremely responsive with replying. I have no negatives. We are pretty particular when it comes to cleanliness and this place was perfect. Just book it! You won’t be disappointed! I can’t wait to return again!

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. Originally, we were only supposed to stay 4 nights, but we loved it so much that we extended our stay 2 more nights! Jay made it so easy to extend our stay and make us feel welcomed. The location was close to various beaches and restaurants, yet it still felt private. It was calm, peaceful, and exactly what we wanted. The view was absolutely breathtaking and every night we slept with the slider open to hear the waves. We even saw turtles from the balcony!

A++++++ owners, place was great for what we needed. Sleeps 2-3 comfy, might be able to squeeze in a 4th. Full mini kitchen, patio, pool/spa/BBQ’s, tennis courts. 1/4 mile walking distance to beach. Cute wildlife w/ birds & chicken all over property. Everyone was friendly. 5-10min from downtown Kihei shopping & grocery stores.

The location in Kihei was perfect for our trip to Haleakalā National Park, only a one-hour drive! There were also many beaches and restaurants within walking distance of the condo.

Both beds were extremely comfortable. The location couldn’t have been more perfect just steps away from Kam II beach and walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Everything was perfect for our short 2 night stay and we would definitely stay here again!

Melissa was an amazing host. Her place was very clean and well stocked with cleaning supplies and beach items. This is one our favorite hosts and locations. We would definitely come back.

Brie's AirBnB was the perfect mini vacation for us and our children. Highlights: We enjoyed going out the back patio to the private pool on the property. The AirBnB is on the ground floor which also made it easier to come and go. But the main part is we ALL felt at home. Plenty food places to go to. We went to Nalu's and Kihei Caffe :) We are so very grateful synchronicity brought us to Brie's Airbnb. Mahalo for the last-minute booking!

I was impressed with the outside view - the view matched description perfectly. The host is very responsive. We could get the A/C to work in the living room since as there are special instructions to follow but the host took the time to respond back to us at late hour and immediately scheduled a maintenance crew to inspect the very next day. There aren’t many food options walking distance (more or less 30min), but we had a car so everything worked out great! Otherwise no problems at checking in or finding the place. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Tami’s place! She was very responsive, and the place was exactly what we needed for our trip to Maui. It was quiet, clean, the bed was comfy, and we especially enjoyed the patio. It was also very easy to park and get around. Would highly recommend staying here if you need to be in Wailea!

We had a fantastic experience staying here. The check in and check out was easy and the grounds of the condos are really well kept and beautiful.

Mostly good impression. Minor nit picks: TV could be larger and newer for that price. The air conditioning on the balcony from the upstairs was noisy (and in general, the unit ACs are imho on the older side of the scale) until a miracle happened and new guests above finally turned it off and then it was really quiet for the night. There was some loud construction at the neighbors on one of the days, but again, it was only for a day. Overall a good private place.

Definitely recommend booking with Matthew. Our stay was very enjoyable and felt like we were at home. Matthew made sure we had everything we needed and had made sure to let us know he is available if we needed any help.

The condo featured everything we could hope for to enjoy the beaches and our vacation with a baby including full kitchen equipment, various baby chairs, toys, a bathtub and beach equipment (umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie boards, beachwaggon...). We really liked the interior design, it made us feel more at home.

This condo was perfect. Everything was sparkling clean, the furnishings were very nice. Loved the location. The complex’s pools were great and the grounds very nicely landscaped and maintained. Service was top notch. It absolutely could not have been better.

Wow! Let me start by saying… just book it! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and hospitality that Kate & Mark pour into this space. Every detail, from the thoughtful goodies to the stunning decor, is curated to perfection. The design is both aesthetically pleasing and inviting, instantly making you feel at home. We stayed at the Fairmont for the first part of our trip for business, and honestly, we both agreed—this place felt even more prestigious! My wife loved the bed sheets so much that she had to look them up, and they are now sitting in my Amazon cart, ready to purchase when we get back home. Another standout feature was the tablet they provide—it’s incredibly helpful and packed with all the information you could ever need to enhance your stay. Kate & Mark truly know what they’re doing, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We hope to be back in the future!

My husband, toddler, and I stayed at Kate’s place in Wailea for a week in May. It was fantastic! The location was perfect with easy access to the beach walking paths in Wailea, the shopping center a few minutes walk away, and you have pool and beach access. The grounds are beautiful, including the outdoor patio at the condo. We spent every morning and evening out there! The condo itself was very modern and clean and we appreciated how stocked it was. Kate even had a high chair, pack n’ play, and beach toys for our son. We loved staying here! Highly recommend it to anyone and we likely will be back. The only thing to keep in mind is the unit is close to the main road, so when you are outside there is some road noise.
