Monthly Rentals in Walberswick

Good accommodation in a lovely location. Just what we needed. Sally &Chris are great hosts.

We had a wonderful stay: The old chapel was in the centre of Walberswick (walk or cycle everywhere!) The old chapel suited our large family so well, providing ample quality space for us all, we particularly enjoyed the vast first floor with its outdoor spaces, large dining table, and big sitting area. The kitchen was wonderful , including a wide range of high quality cookware, double oven,’large hob, twin fridges and a freezer. The kids enjoyed watching the large TV in the evenings (wifi network worked well). There were two large trunks full of board games and downstairs by the front door is a basket full beach stuff inc Body Boards. Down stairs the bedrooms are great with loads of w/c’s and bathrooms, showers were lovely and hot. The laundry room and ceiling hung clothes drier got everything dry overnight by virtue of the boiler heat. Of the many things we appreciated were the really lovely white cotton bed linen and towels and the Faith-in-Nature bathroom products etc.

It was lovely to stay at Caren and Pete's. It was everything we'd expected: all perfect. Parking was a real benefit as was the short 15 minute walk into Southwold. Bicycle storage was also useful and we recommend the gentle cycle trip across to Walberswick. We'd also recommend the Old Hall Cafe for breakfast! We definitely hope to return and trust we can get booked into this genuinely lovely popular Airbnb.

Laura was a fantastic host! Everything at the property was exactly as described. A really well thought out design, which suited my partner and myself perfectly for our two night vacation. Extremely clean and tidy throughout. Laura was always on hand should we have needed anything. Upon our arrival we were welcomed with a selection of teas and very good coffee, milk and even a quality loaf of bread and butter to go along with the homemade jam from her garden! A very thoughtful gesture indeed. What more could one ask for. Well probably the lovely flowered garden area for a morning coffee with the lighthouse beside you, and the sole bay pub, which was 1mins walk! Excellent selection of beer and food to be had. Laura’s property in my opinion has the perfect location for anyone visiting Southwold. We would certainly visit this lovely place again in a heartbeat!
