We both had a lovely stay! The bed was incredibly comfy, and the powerful shower was just what we needed after a long day. Really appreciated the extra touches like the cookies (so delicious!) and coffee machine – made it feel extra welcoming. As did Isobel on arrival who gave us a great recommendation for a late dinner! Would definitely stay again! Thank you.

We had a great stay at Brandybuck Cottage - cosy and quirky describes it perfectly! A lovely peaceful location, tucked down the little lane - it was very relaxing to wake to the sound of birds singing in the morning. Mountsorrel is a perfect location to explore the surrounding areas - we managed to fit in a wander around the beautiful Bradgate Park, a trip to Stonehurst Farm, meal out at The Waterside Inn (kids loved the bouncy castle!), couple of drinks at Wilfred Pinsent & Grandson (conveniently located at the bottom of the lane!) and then caught the final day of the 1940s weekend at Quorn steam railway before we went home! Lucie’s cottage has everything you could need for a relaxing break away - it was clean and well equipped with comfortable beds and the wonderful addition of outside space with the terrace and secret garden! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there 😊

Very pretty hamlet almost connected to Loughborough. Convenient to the university but in a quiet rural location . The loft was great and just what we wanted. Clean and comfortable.
