In the immediate vicinity, you can find the Hennesee (swimming, stand-up paddling, diving, sailing, fishing, inline skating, etc.), climbing opportunities, the Ruhr Valley Cycling Path, ski areas (Winterberg about 25 minutes, direct and less frequented ski areas can be reached in 15 minutes). Meschede is a great starting point for hiking, mountain biking and many other activities.

The quaint cottage Gabi is located above the Hennese lake & offers a beautiful view of the Sauerland countryside. It is fully made of wood inside & exudes cozy coziness in a quaint atmosphere. It offers a living room with integrated kitchen, two bedrooms with TEMPUR mattresses, sheep couch in the living room & bedroom floor on about 51 m ², so that there is space for 5-6 guests.
