One of the best places to stay in downtown. Harley was flexible with us and his apartment is even better than in the pictures & description. Without any doubt this is ***** apartment.

We had a great stay here while in Escanaba visiting family. The kitchen had everything we could need for cooking breakfast, and the apartment and rooms were comfortable and clean and well equipped with anything we could've needed. We would absolutely stay here again!

stayed for a second time for our 30th anniversary. They added a king bed. We love the place! its beautiful, on the water and next to a great restaurant.

The Wooded Wonderland home was exactly as described. My family of six had plenty of room. It was a close walk to the main strip on sister Bay. The home is beautiful. My family would absolutely stay there again when visiting Door County.

My partner and I had a great time here! We were able to make our own meals with the utensils/pans/etc. provided in the kitchen. There were restaurants and stores within walking distance which was super nice. Matt was super responsive and a great host.

We stayed at Winding Down for our 25th anniversary. We've been coming to Door County for over 25 years, and we've stayed at some nice places. But this is easily the nicest we've encountered. The space is expansive, but still cozy, quiet, serene and inviting. It is also immaculate. We enjoyed the selections of artwork and the attention to detail throughout the house. At one point we needed James's help with the refrigerator, and he was quick to provide assistance. It was also really enjoyable chatting with him. If the place is available again during our anniversary week, we'd love to return.

Loved the beautiful setting amongst mature trees, the lake view and falling to sleep listening to the waves.

Stayed here for our honeymoon! The weather was chilly so we were grateful to warm up in the hot tub after a day out and about. We also went to Osteria Tre Tassi down the road TWICE. the best food ever and incredible atmosphere.

We were looking for a beautiful and peaceful stay while we explored the Door County area and that is exactly what we got! The house itself was very clean and looked just like the photos. The property looks out onto Moonlight Bay and has incredible views. It was a little chilly during our stay so we did not get to enjoy all of the amenities but everything that was mentioned was present in the backyard/garage! The only thing we were disappointed in was that the dock wasn’t out. Other than that, we would definitely recommend this stay!

This place was perfect for our family! The large backyard was perfect for outdoor games for all the kids and the pool was very nice! Bonus that we could walk to the winery and cheese store! Very convenient location for exploring all of door county!

A wonderful location in the heart of Sister Bay! Highly recommend.

Quiet, restful location. The little porch was a nice touch. On the small side. Perfect for a couple, as I can't imagine sharing the space with kids. The location is perfect for exploring the Door. We did not use the pools, but would have if we remembered our suits! Well stocked kitchen if you feel like cooking, but no salt/pepper could be found. A pleasant stay overall!

I was very happy with my stay. Place was exactly as advertised, and loved the added amenity of a 24 hour (adults only) pool located just a short walk away. Location was prime for Door County, located right between Sturgeon Bay and Sister Bay, making it easily accessible and drivable for all the wineries and sight-seeing you want to do in the peninsula. We had a wonderful time staying at Renae's place for our weekend getaway and it was absolutely beautiful. The view out of the window is breathtaking and the apartment itself is really well kept. Renae was a really nice host with great communication and had special touches throughout the place that made the stay very memorable. We would definitely come back to stay here when visiting in the future.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, spotless condo. We had everything we needed and the location was great with shops, restaurants and park within easy walking distance. Maddie provided excellent local recommendations and was very responsive, communicating everything we needed to know. Highly recommend this condo and outstanding host!
