Holiday rentals with lake access in Washtenaw County

This is our 3rd (or 4th) time renting and it won't be our last! House is always clean and nicely appointed. Last visit was pre-covid so its been too long. House has fresh paint and carpet - looked better than ever. Dan & Liz doing a nice job of keeping the house with a fresh lake vibe. Great place to relax and enjoy the lake!

We held our Annual EMU friend reunion here so we would have a place to hang out after touring, going to a game, and visiting our old stomping grounds. Chris is a gracious host with a beautiful lake home. Unfortunately, 3 members of our group had medical issues which interfered with their being able to stay, which affected our cost, but we all said it was still worth dividing their portions up and paying the extra. The home is well appointed and stocked with wonderful kitchen amenities. We cooked 3 meals and had a great time in that kitchen. The sleeping spaces were very comfortable and the entire house was nice and clean. Thank you for all you do to make this Airbnb a home away from home!

Thanks Steven for hosting my family and their friends. Everyone enjoyed the ride around the lake on the pontoon boat that you skippered…very considerate. Great location lake-side and a most relaxing weekend had by all. Hope to be able to visit again. Jim

Rania's Lakefront Home was the perfect getaway for us. My husband and I were meeting our friends of 40+ years for one of our fishing excursions. We were seeking a home that was on the waterfront but not too far from civilization because one of our members was being treated and needed close proximity to a hospital. Rania's place was perfect for us! It is off the beaten path, but easily accessible by freeway and close to NK Marina where we rented a pontoon boat. It is also close to Chelsea, Michigan. So we were able to go into town upon arrival and have a magnificent meal at the Common Grill! Rania's home is exactly as pictured and beautifully decorated. There are plenty of trees surrounding the property, so we had a wonderful breeze the entire time. Yet, the deck was great and allowed for sun bathing. We loved the large dining room table that comfortably sat everyone for dinner, and the smartly appointed kitchen that made it easy for us to cook dinner and breakfast. It was perfect!

We chose this Airbnb for the location on the lake right down the street from my Sister's house for an extended family wedding weekend. Our hosts were extremely responsive to all of our questions and we couldn't have had a better experience. The house is exactly as pictured on the website and the location cannot be better. The house was super clean and had so many nice features, the Master Bedroom bedding and mattress were so so very comfortable! We were there for a wedding so we had to pack our formal clothes and everyone came from far away. It was wonderful to have a steamer, ironing board and nice iron to utilize to make us all look sharp for the wedding. We were busy with wedding celebrations, so we didn't get to use the hot tub or the fire pit but both looked so inviting. We could easily walk to my Sister's house down the street but we could also walk to the local Trading Post for all grocery, beer and snack needs as well as a pizza restaurant, a cider bar and cute shops!

The house was very spacious. Updated kitchen with everything you need to cook (which we did almost every meal). The downstairs entertainment area was great!

I would 100% recommend Valerie's adorable cottage. Clearly she's been at this for a while because no detail was left out. Her home was incredibly comfortable with a beautiful design and PLENTY of space for hanging out and enjoying the lake no matter the weather. We were there in the fall and it was a perfect location to take in the autumn colors. Nestled in among several cute towns, our daily drives took us through beautiful countryside with lots of options for local dining and shopping. Valerie was quick to respond to my questions and even went the extra mile with a request or two. If you're pondering a stay here, I say do it!

10/10 recommend this place! It could not have been more perfect for my sister’s camp themed bachelorette party. Beautiful home with a massive yard for games. Kiara was also great and super responsive. Would definitely come back!

Really enjoyed my weekend stay. Pretty lake and the home is positioned well.

Farah and her staff went out the way to make accommodations for me and my wife during the stay. The location looked just like the pictures and you knew exactly what you were getting. The building does seem to be a little old but despite that the unit was clean and in a great location right by the lake. The apartment along with the services they offer made it definitely worth the money and trip. Will be booking with them again.

Jason is a GREAT HOST. Been here a couple times and will come back again.

We had a great stay here. Easy check in and check out instructions! The outdoor toys and bikes were a great addition to the amazing scenery. Would stay here again!

Beautiful place to visit. The studio was super clean, inviting and so comfortable. The view was beautiful- waking up to the sunrise every morning. A stone's throw to the beach, which was very clean and well kept. A great getaway for downtime and privacy. Not a lot to do other than the beach, but a state park only 15 minutes away. Would definitely book this place again!

Great spot.. small, quaint, peaceful.. little creek and patio.. Not a lot of room but everything that's needed for one and his pup.. A stones throw to a great main street and super restaurants ..

We are so happy that we came across this spot. It was absolutely perfect and Rosemary and Doug couldn’t have been more welcoming. We felt right at home. Enjoyed a lot of fishing and peaceful kayaking trips in the morning. Our son loved the tree house and game room. But most of our time was spent on the dock. We had perfect vacation.

This studio is located on top of the garage of another occupied home that is by the water. The landscaping of the home below is beautiful and well kept! You can view the water from the back yard of the occupied home or take a very short walk to Luna Pier, which we did every day. The appliances in the studio are nice, and the place was clean. Thank you!

Wonderful little house! Very quiet neighborhood and lots of nearby restaurants. Go to L George Coney Islsnd for breakfast - 2 minutes away. Perfect for my week's work trip.

Perfect place to stay - very clean and has great amenities. Plenty of open room in the house with an awesome backyard space. Enjoyed our stay, would return for another trip. Thank you to the hosts.

Judy's place was great she was one of the best hosts I've had on Airbnb. whenever we had a question she was quick to respond. It was clean and the hot tub was amazing with nature all around. First place I will look for when we come back to the area.

We were in the area for a concert at Pine Knob, and we had a great experience here. The place was just as described, peaceful, and a convenient location to restaurants and everything we needed. We would stay here again!

Had a great stay. Made frequent use of the kayaks/canoe that were provided to get out and enjoy the beautiful lake. Seven adults in our group and we had plenty of room and comfortable accommodations. Debra is an excellent host and we would not hesitate to book with her again.

This was a great cottage to stay in. Our boys had a lot of fun on the lake with the kayaks, floats, and paddle board. It was nicely tucked away but a short commute to so many things! Mark was a great host as well. We will look to stay there again if we are in the area!!

Amazing place! Even better than expected! Although it says no AC, they have a little AC unit next to the couch and it makes the whole place so cool! We brought fans and didn't even need to use them. The view was absolutely beautiful. The sunsets on the water were truly breathtaking. I also wanted to mention how I love that we were able to spend it with our puppy, kind of rare to find a nice waterfront like this that allows animals! We will definitely be back next summer.

My girlfriend and I had a great midweek stay at Jerilyn’s lake house in Walled Lake, checking in Tuesday and leaving Friday. The home was everything advertised—cozy, clean, and with a beautiful view of the lake that made for a relaxing escape from the city. Jerilyn was an impeccable host. When we embarrassingly locked the keys inside, she responded right away and was at the house within five minutes to help us out—something we were incredibly grateful for. Her hospitality and attentiveness made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. We truly appreciated her kindness and would recommend her home to anyone looking for a peaceful lakeside getaway.
