Our B&B offers you a spacious apartment (45m2), lockable, on the 1st floor with private entrance. This makes contactless stays possible. Kitchen with 2-burner stove, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and kettle. Through the landing, you enter your own bathroom with sinks, shower and toilet. The private entrance is on the ground floor. If you come with 3 or 4 persons, there is a second living/bedroom in the apartment available (25 m2 extra) Pets are allowed only after consultation.

Wonderfully large vacation home

After permanent residence, now available for vacation rental. This amazing accommodation is no less than 100 square meters in size. A bright living room with large dining table, kitchen, oak floor, wood stove, underfloor heating and a double sofa bed. There are two cool bedrooms with king size bed. The master bedroom has a bed of 220 cm long. The private garden on the southwest has a dining table and igloo greenhouse, where you can sit comfortably (even in the evening). Unobstructed view.

The Landscape

In this luxurious spacious home, you will experience rural life at its best! With a magnificent view over the countryside in the characteristic landscape of the Frisian Forests, it is wonderful to relax. Even from your bed, you can enjoy the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

Guesthouse "De Kraanvogel"

Guesthouse "De Kraanvogel" The cozy log cabin can be found on the grounds of a farmhouse and has its own driveway. Sheltered under a wooden wall, you can look out towards the Fochtelooërveen and into the beautifully maintained garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of corn or other crops. The log cabin contains a bedroom, bathroom and living room and the whole can be heated with a wood stove. You can make your own cup of coffee or tea in the log cabin.

Come and stay in the old bakery from 1908. Enjoy the surroundings that Bakkeveen has to offer. Bakkeveen is a small village in the middle of the woods of the Frisian forests. The shop is located on the main road from Bakkeveen to Wijnjewoude. And in the village center of Bakkeveen, and 100 meters from the forest. A nice base for walks, bike rides and culinary enjoyment. Bakkeveen offers many activities, such as hiking and of course in summer the largest flea market in the north.

Welcome to our unique tiny house, hidden in a private forest on the outskirts of the charming Frisian village of Noordwolde. This modern accommodation is ideal for peace seekers and nature lovers. In the summer, enjoy your spacious private garden with seating area, a veranda and a hammock among the trees. In winter, you can sit comfortably inside by the wood-burning stove, which heats the room in no time. The tiny house is compact but equipped with every comfort!

Guesthouse "De Bisschops' Stee"

Our house is a former business premises and had quite a bit of space left over. Where previously the shop/office spaces with customer toilet were, in the fall of 2019 we created a bedroom, living room with kitchenette (with coffee and tea facilities/fridge) and toilet/shower. The shop entrance is now a private entrance for our guest house. Ordering breakfast is possible, but this is not included in the base price as standard.
