Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Watauga Lake

This by far the best place we have stayed in the last few years. It was beautifully and comfortably decorated. Had everything we needed. Morning came with a symphony of birds and sounds from the cows in the neighboring farm. Nighttime brought a chorus of tree frogs. The beds were comfortable the kitchen stocked and the hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of the day. Close to fishing and hiking. Would definitely stay again if back in the area.

Beautiful, private home with an absolutely incredible view of Grandfather Mountain. Convenient location just a few minutes from Food Lion and downtown Blowing Rock.

The condo was extremely clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The decorations and overall feel of the place is great. The pool was nice to go down and enjoy as well. The view is incredible and we spent a good bit of time out on the balcony, just enjoying the beauty and serenity. We have zero complaints and nothing but praise for the condo and hosts. We definitely plan to return! Don't be deterred by the need to use the shuttle to travel back and forth to your car. The drivers were great and the wait for them was just a couple minutes. The entire complex seems laid back, friendly, and very well maintained. Food, groceries, or entertainment is all within a few minutes drive. While our friends were sweating in Bristol at 87 degrees, we were a cool 72 up on the mountain. It is a great place to cool off and recharge in the Summer.

We're still coming down from our jaunt up the mountain to stay at Tammie and Christian's little gem of modern cabin. Seclusion, well-stocked kitchen, layout, maintained property and a porch swing, exceeded our expectations to decompress for a few days after some stressful months. Most importantly, Tammie was extremely proactive in communicating instructions, checking in regularly which we find more value in these days than the property itself. My husband and I stayed for a month at the house and absolutely loved it. It was peaceful and beautiful with the music of a rushing streamf filling the house everyday when we opened up the French doors. It was refreshing to see that the house actually matched all of the photos and the amenities that were listed. It was great to have a grocery store and a restaurant within 15 minutes of the house. we loved it so much. we're going to come back again next year.

Very nice and fun house. Super clean with lots of games and activities. We will be back.

If you think to yourself I wonder if this air bnb has xyz it does. The host is very proactive in having anything you might need at your fingertips. The kitchen is very well stocked any quality items. You might ask yourself - will I be able to hear cars in the road? And to be honest we hardly even noticed them. Having noise machines in each room was also a nice touch. We loved that it was close to Tweetsie and Blowing Rock. If you have kids you gotta check out the memorial park in downtown Blowing Rock. Our kids played there almost everyday after dinner.

Kelly and Caleb’s vacation home was an absolute dream for our family! We had the best time and were able to enjoy some peace and quiet and we also enjoyed exploring surrounding areas. The home was cozy, clean, and peaceful.. I loved that it was family friendly!! Thank you both for allowing us to stay!

This is such a great place for families who have kids and for adults, on their own. The view is spectacular! There are tons of activities: at the house, in the community and broader area. I especially appreciated the hot tub after the 17-mile bike ride on the Virginia Creeper Trail from Abingdon to Damascus. The kitchen is well supplied and will satisfy most home chefs. It is amazingly clean, especially considering pets are permitted. We look forward to future stays!

Really felt right at home. Had all the essentials we could have needed and loved the hot tub and hammock additions. Perfect location, and even the trails within the area were great. Louis was so responsive and helpful with everything

This place was great. Wonderful views. Private and quiet. Non-stop hummingbirds visiting the feeder on the deck.

I stayed here for 5 nights and had an amazing time! The place was spotless and beautiful. I loved the quiet setting and screened in porch. Close to Grayson Highlands for hiking, also checked out Mount Jefferson and Paddy Mountain hiking areas- absolutely gorgeous. Popped into the Old Orchard Creek general store in Lansing and got a delicious scone & some gifts. There was an awesome craft fair on Saturday in Lansing also. Brunch at Oldhouse Goods/ Third Day Kitchen is highly recommended if you head into West Jefferson! Service is spotty in the area so download maps before you go. WiFi at the house is great, plus there’s a landline phone for emergencies which eased my mind. Overall loved my time here!

we completely enjoyed ourself at Kendall's red tin roof cabin. it's close to Banner Elk it's close to beautiful golf courses and we went to some waterfall swimming holes everything was close the view was fantastic and we will be back again

My wife and I, along with our daughter, her husband, and their 3 young boys had a very enjoyable stay. The children particularly liked the game barn. We all enjoyed the cool mountain air and the peaceful vibes while sitting on the outside swing along with making s'mores over the fire pit, and enjoying a relaxing soak in the hot tub. The view of Grandfather Mountain from the deck is amazing. Driving up to and down from the house was a bit challenging, with very steep climbs and hairpin switchback turns, but the view from the house at the top was well worth the drive. All things considered, we all had a very enjoyable stay and highly recommend staying here

Lauren’s place was amazing! We enjoyed sitting by the fire at night and the kids loved the hot tub and ping pong table. Everything was clean and lots of chairs for the entire family. It is tucked back into the woods so it was quiet and peaceful. We also enjoyed watching several deer walk past a few times. I’m highly recommend Lauren’s cabin.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Courage Cabin. It was very private and peaceful. We enjoyed the mountain sunrises and sunsets, the cozy atmosphere of the cabin itself, and the hot tub at the end of our day. Our dogs loved the nature around the house, the only down side is there's not a great walkable path for the dogs for a walk due to the steep hill but with tons of hiking routes and trails nearby it didn't matter. The owners of the cabin were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We'd rebook in the future!
