Welcome to my home! Drive/park to my front door, no steps. Safe free off-street parking. Light breakfast provided. You have top level of my house to yourself; sometimes you may see me arrive through my garage door. Bathroom shower toilet; lounge area, double bedroom, queen size very comfortable bed, patio. Sunny, expansive views! 10 mins walk to train; 15 mins drive to Ferries, HNRY Stadium, City Centre. Parking area at front door, large enough for camper van/2 small cars. NO TV upstairs.

Finnimore House is a large, historic Wellington home, reputed to have been built for Sir Julius Vogel around 1870. It is close to the central city, with good public transport available, yet quiet and surrounded by bush, with the sounds of native birds right outside your window. The Blue Room is of Victorian proportions, warm, comfortable and inviting.

You can use the wifi to work from home or take a short stroll to Khandallah Station and take the 15 minute train ride into the CBD to enjoy the shopping and the sights. On a sunny day you will often see sailing boats racing in the harbour and at night the lights of the city shine across the harbour.
