Holiday rentals with a patio in Whitby

What a find! Absolutely perfect for our three night stay in York. Secure parking with EV charging and we didn’t use the car at all once we’d arrived. 45 minute pleasant walk to the centre or bus stop literally right outside the door. Also got an Uber back after a night out and was less than £8. There are local pubs and shops within a few minutes walk too. The place is exactly as shown in the photos, absolutely spotless, with comfy bed and good quality bedding. Carolyn is an excellent host, great local info and perfect level of communication…providing all the information and responsive to messages but also left us in peace :)

Was a beautiful stay for myself and children, stunning views which the children were obsessed with. Entertainment on site, lovely beach too. Always something to do. Great hosts with communication. Very quick to respond and so helpful.

The Guest Place was a lovely place to stay, perfectly appointed (with a really comfy bed!), spotlessly clean and in a gorgeous street. Walking distance to amenities and the beach too. Ann was a great host, communicated regularly and made me feel really welcome. I hope to stay again!

This is our second stay at low tide, stayed in 2023 and it was as beautiful as it was then! Super clean, gorgeous decor, great little courtyard and lovely little touches for the doggy (dog bowls, blanket)! Hosts were very quick to respond to any messages! Great location, 2 mins to the beach, private parking you coudnt ask for anymore! Will be back again 100%

We had the best stay. Shelia responded straight away when I txt her to say there was no tv reception and she sorted it very quickly. The scones were delicious as was the jam and cream to go with them. The whole flat was so cosy and comfortable. Parking was very easy also. Very close to Knaresborough town centre and a good walking distance away. You can adjust the heating very easily if cold. I would 100% stay here again. The stairs to get down to the flat are quite steep so just be weary of this if you struggle with steps but I have MS and I managed without too much trouble. The bed is also so comfortable. My husband had I had a great night sleep. 😀

We enjoyed our stay here. The location is great - a few mins walk in to York - and the facilities were very clean. The communications from the host were good and we'd be very happy to stay here again

Exactly what we were looking for! Helen (host) was really easy to deal with and has a lovely home. We definitely recommend!

This host is prepared! The many thoughtful details made this stay delightful— traditional candies made in York, prosecco, lots of brochures and local suggestions, nice shampoo and toiletries. The walk to town is very doable. We were able to check in an hour early as our train arrived early. Also, we had to abandon a broken suitcase. Stuart was great about helping us with that. Thanks!

We had a peaceful few days at Liz and Nick’s cottage. It was spotlessly clean and extremely peaceful, being set in the most beautiful surroundings. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and the home-baked cookies were delicious! Liz’s communication was excellent and she was very accommodating when we needed to change the days of our stay slightly. We would definitely recommend it to others.

Amazing location, easy walk up onto the moors or into Rosedale along the river valley. Beautifully restored and fitted out. Everything tool you could possibly need was provided in the kitchen. Peaceful seating area out the back and we loved seeing the rabbits and hearing the owls.

Lovely place, very spacious with everything you need. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful and there are a couple of pubs in walking distance.

Silvia made our stay absolutely wonderful. She was very informative from the start. The home was very well maintained, clean and very tidy. We celebrated our anniversary during our stay and the personal added touches made a great start to our weekend away. Very thoughtful! The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The manual was very helpful and listed everything we needed to know about local amenities, aswel as having leaflets on what York had to offer. Would million percent recommend this host and there beautiful home. The home was in a good location and also offered parking. Check in and out was very easy and we had a very lovely time in York thanks to the amazing hosting of Silvia. Don't hesitate to book your stay here. The house was fabulous, so homely with luxurious touches, bedding, furniture to name just a few. Well equiped with dishwasher etc. Parking directly outside with permits supplied. Wendy responded quickly and checked all was well with us. A wonderful stay.

Lovely stay at the Shed - we've been before and it was just as good if not better second time round

We had a great stay. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet. The location was great and walkable to the York sites. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again if we are in York again.

We enjoyed our stay in Sophie’s place. The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable. It was also well situated for exploring the delightful city of Ripon and the surrounding area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shambles Secret. Jenny proved to be a first class host, who went above and beyond to make her guests happy; we cannot thank her enough. The flat was exactly as depicted in the pictures, lovely and cosy and a real home from home. We slept really well, and although the flat is right in the centre of York, it was remarkably quiet. We enjoyed our time in the flat as much as we did sightseeing in fabulous York. Shambles Secret really is right where you want to be, EVERYTHING was within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay in Cloughton it was lovely. Just what we were looking for in an Air b n b . The accommodation was spacious enough for 2 adults and our wee dog . There was tea, coffee, sugar , salt , pepper, butter , jam and milk . All these items were very useful as it saves you bringing your own. Towels and linen were lush. Welcome pack was extensive and very useful. I particularly enjoyed our bottle of wine too . Very nice touch . Highly recommend John’s accommodation. .

Stayed here with a friend Friday-Monday and will definitely be returning! The location is about a 4 minute walk from the centre and is in a great location about 2 minutes walk from the beach. The apartment was absolutely spotless and had everything and more what we needed! It is in a nice, peaceful area where we felt safe and at home. This place is perfect for couples, families and friends. I have absolutely no criticism it was perfect!

Absolutely stunning property with everything you would need for a stay away already in place! It’s just as it looks in the images, very spacious, absolutely stunning bathrooms and full functioning kitchen with all the cutlery and dishes you need! Loved the guest book with all details and instructions for our stay! Can very much tell the host has a lot of attention to detail! Every part of the space was so well thought out, aesthetically pleasing, whilst also being highly functional! I will definitely be looking to book again for my next trip to Harrogate!

Would highly recommend Eleanor 's place. It was as described, very clean and comfortable, bedding and towels good quality and spotless. Absolutely beautiful flat right in the center of York, the balconies and living room have views over York Minster and the location is very walkable to all the major attractions. We loved the location, parked the car and forgot about it which is helpful in York as there is very little parking and what there is is expensive. The flat was very comfortable, larger even then we expected and very stylish interiors and good quality kitchen and bathroom. The instructions provided were easy to follow and we didn't feel we needed to contact the host. Fab stay for our family and we'll be back soon!
