It was lovely and peaceful, the area is beautiful. It is on private land so isn’t close to any shops or towns etc. There is a very lovely farm shop called doddingtons about 9minutes away that has lovely walks, shops and views. The house itself is very pretty and clean, the beds were comfortable and it was alround a very cosy getaway. Perfect for winter, sat around the TV with hot chocolate and the Christmas tree beautifully decorated.

Great space, very soothing environment. It should be noted - for anyone who has issues about complete privacy - that this property looks onto the same garden space as another of Diane’s lodges. Pro-tip if you don’t want to drive or pub-lunch - bring groceries as there isn’t a local shop.

David is a lovely host and the flat was perfect for our stay. It was tidy and had great facilities, as well as being within walking distance of the city centre. I would highly recommend!
