We very much enjoyed our stay at Maison de Charme in the Ardennes. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Patrick, and there was even a nice soup ready in the fridge. The accommodation is attractively and cozily furnished. Good hygiene also helps you feel at home right away. There is a lovely (well-enclosed) garden where you can sit, and have plenty of space to play with the dog. You can easily park the car in front of the house. The area around the accommodation is beautiful, a few meters from the door you can follow several hiking trails. Walk 1 (Lavacherie-Bonne-Dame) along the viewpoint is really recommended! All in all, we had a wonderful holiday and we would love to come back!

We had a lovely stay. It is a beautiful cottage near the woods. Within a few minutes, you were in the middle of nature. Delicious! Also a great base to visit Bastogne or caves. The days we were there it was quite chilly and bleak, but you didn't suffer from that in the house. Well insulated and nice and warm. All in all recommended.

An exceptional stay! The welcome was more than warm. Patricia, our host, is very available and always attentive, just call her if needed. The cottage is perfectly equipped, everything is made available as in a hotel, even better, and that's also what makes the stay so magical. Nothing is missing, everything is designed for the comfort of travelers. The small, intimate and sunny terrace is ideal for relaxing in peace. Upon arrival, Patricia offers a very complete booklet with the most beautiful walks in the region as well as many useful addresses: bakeries, shops, restaurants, local producers... An address that I highly recommend, without hesitation! 😊

It was wonderfull, just like last year. The view, the nature and the environment- just amazing!!

Cozy weekend spent in the house, with children and grandchild, despite the somewhat inclement weather. Comfortable lodging with cozy pellet stove. Good beds that were neatly made (also the baby cot). Everything went as agreed. Very friendly welcome! :-) When the baby is older, we may come to test the swing and slide in the garden...

Warm welcome by Didier's dad, as he and Anne were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary❤️🥰🎂. Beautiful🤩, peaceful, bright, wisely furnished accommodation. Everything was in line with the presentation of the site. Very clean and comfortable. Bedding, towels, bathrobe, everything was there🥰🥰🥰... Two fully equipped terraces, one with a jacuzzi and sauna and the other for eating and relaxing in the sun. Very well maintained garden and private and intimate space... Bikes available and possibility to load the car🚗👌. My spouse, for whom it was a surprise, loved it❤️❤️❤️. We recommend 👌👌👌👌 We will return, hoping to greet Anne and Didier, to whom we wish many more years of happiness. 💖💖💖 Catherine and Philippe

We had a wonderful long weekend in this cozy cottage. Our kids loved the playroom and the garden, they would love to go back right away. The house is well equipped and individually as well as child-friendly, we didn't lack anything. Communication was always prompt and very warm. There is a lot to do in the area, even if the weather is very changeable as with us. Beatrice had lots of helpful tips. Definitely recommend!

Avner was extremely helpful and friendly, allowing us to leave our bags at the house before our check-in time so that we could go explore Spa. The house was pristine and comfortable, with a complete kitchen that allowed us to cook like we were at home. Though we didn't need it, there was a booklet listing the essential facilities in Spa (pharmacy, doctor's office) as well as restaurant suggestions and activities to do around the town, which we found quite thoughtful. Overall, an amazing apartment for a very affordable price!

Françoise and Thierry's house was wonderful all around: the decor, the furnishings, the garden, everything! We felt very comfortable - which was not least due to the very pleasant communication with the two.

Mountain biking stay in Houffalize, many routes offered in the region. Very happy with the accommodation. Access to the garage to store bicycles. Welcoming terrace for sharing a (or more) drinks with friends. Recommended.

Had a super nice stay in Johan's apartment, in a quiet and beautiful area. We will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

There's not much around the property. However, there is a supermarket in the village. We were very nicely received and received a small apartment tour and explanation of everything. Not only the entrance and the entire property are a real highlight, but the apartment itself is also super beautiful and has charm. We felt right at home. Beautiful little garden with seating and of course the great whirlpool. What might be missing is a parasol, but that's the only thing we could complain about. Christian is a great host and was always available. We thank you for a wonderful weekend and will be happy to come back.

What a beautiful spot, with a beautiful garden, and a beautiful view. We loved our stay here. The peace and quiet, all the green around. Joop and Zeljko showed us around the apartment and gave us tips to visit in the surroundings. Because the temperature dropped considerably it was a bit chilly inside and Joop showed us right away how the heating worked. The apartment has everything you can wish for and the kitchen is very well equipped. And... the bathroom has a bath! I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a peaceful and quiet stay with a beautiful surrounding. There were also some nice walks right form the apartment and lovely towns 15 - 20 min drive distance. Thanks for having us and all the best Joop and Zeljko!

Super nice, clean and tidy place to stay. I felt at home. The area is a bit boring, you have to drive something if you want to do something. But otherwise nice and quiet to escape the stress.

Waltraud's apartment is a peaceful haven with a beautiful view of her garden. Waltraud is very welcoming.

We spent some really nice days in Maria's apartment. It was a very nice break, everything was available and the children were very busy. I can recommend this apartment one hundred percent and we look forward to next time at Maria's place. We spent a few lovely days at Maria's holiday flat. Everything was thought through with a lot of little touches here and there. The kids had loads of fun with the various toys and tractors on offer. I can highly recommended staying there and we can't wait to come visit again :)

loved it😍 after cycling all the way from Rotterdam this was an oasis to recover. Also a beautiful day's cycle to Bastogne museum and back, largely country roads, though hilly. Jacuzzi was a godsend. First floor is b&b guests, apartment is in the roof area serviced by a lift off you don't want to navigate the beautiful wooden staircase. I used it quite a lot as recovering from my rides. peaceful evenings, no noise that I was aware of, nice and dark for sleeping. gorgeous gardens and goats, kids etc, birds as well! the spar in the town is not far to stock up. Didn't want to leave.

The place was clean, very well organised and contains all amenities (except a washing machine). Franziska was very responsive and provided clear instructions and useful tips.

We had a great time at Pieter's place. The apartment perfectly matches its description and is very quiet. We'll be happy to go back!

We had a truly lovely and memorable experience staying at Marylene’s lovely home. She is a wonderful, generous and welcoming host. Marylene even offered to pick us up and drop us off in her car from the bus station, which was incredibly thoughtful since we had couple of suitcases to lug around. The home is located in a scenic and beautiful spot; we fell in love with it the moment we arrived. It’s cozy and very comfortable for two people for short stays, the space is ideal for one person for longer stays. It’s also accessible on foot to the city centre and there are couple of bikes in her shed that she readily offers for your use. Although we only stayed one night, Marylene’s place made us wish we had more time there, and explore the many walking trails around Malmedy. You can really feel the love and care she’s put into creating such a warm, inviting home. Must stay!
