A lovely cozy (full privacy) vacation home in the beautiful Frisian water sports village of Woudsend. The village is located in the heart of the Frisian lake district, bustling with activity in the summer and has a great middle class. The flower garden (butterfly garden) of the cottage offers a lot of privacy and is located right under the windmill, 't Lam. Come here to relax with your sweetheart, away from the hustle and bustle, you will find peace and quiet here and you will wake up to the tits, blackbirds and sparrows (sometimes Sunday from the church bells). Tastefully decorated vacation home with a spacious terrace and views over the IJsselmeer. Please note when booking: The annual Stavers festival will take place on the nearby grounds, mid-June 2026. Also in July 2026, the 18th edition of the Stavoren fishing days will be held nearby. The exact dates are not yet known. It is a unique opportunity to experience these events, but they do cause noise pollution. If you are looking for peace and quiet, it is better to choose a different period. The Hanzekop team.

A calm and quiet base from which to explore the many beautiful cities, villages and lakes of Friesland. 8 km from the Afsluitdijk, 10 km from the beach and 200 meters from a bus stop and 2 supermarkets.

Net over de Afsluitdijk midden in het Friese weiland logeer je in een heerlijke vakantiewoning met fijne woonkeuken, grote "slaapzolder" met badkamer. De compleet ingerichte keuken nodigt uit tot lekker lang kokkerellen en tafelen. Binnen of buiten! De tuin is een heerlijke plek voor kinderen om te spelen en je geniet hier tot laat van de ondergaande zon en paarden. Ons huis staat vlakbij het strand van Makkum, bossen, meren en verschillende Friese "elf steden".

This beautiful building has been completely restored in 2024/2025. This centrally located accommodation is tastefully decorated and is situated in the heart of Workum overlooking the harbor and the large church. All the shops, restaurants and museums are within walking distance. One of the most beautiful town squares in Friesland, "De Merk," is just a stone's throw away. There is a lot of parking space around the cottage. Even trucks are no problem.

The Carriage House near Leeuwarden

Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. Do you want to stay in a quiet environment where nature plays the main role then this apartment is for you. We, Ate and Gerda are owners since 2016 and have made our farm in Jelsum completely sustainable.
