Our guests can relax in the quiet neighbourhood near the river Aare in the Bally house. We are located between Aarau and Olten at the bicycle routes 3, 5 and 8. The building is a Bed and Breakfast and is only used by our guests. However, if you should have a problem or questions during your stay, we will be at the house within 5 minutes. Our room on the ground floor is equipped with desk, wifi and TV. Further, there is a shared lounge with sofa and large TV. You will find everything you need for cooking in the kitchen. In addition, there is a coffee machine, a microwave oven and a fridge. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms. However, guests can smoke several places outside the building. In the summer, our guests can relax in the nearby swimming pool (100 metres) or in the spacious garden. Free car parking spaces are located directly next to the house. The next bus station is 50 meters away. During rush-hour, there is a bus every 15 minutes. Travel time from the BnB schönenwerd: - Aarau 10min - Olten 30min - Zurich 50min - Basel 60min On request, we will provide a typical Swiss breakfast.

Room overlooking the Rhine, near Basel

Our house is located directly on the Rhine in the quiet Wallbach. You will find peace and quiet with us after a hike or bike tour. However, you can also be very active from here, canoeing, Rhine swimming, excursions to Augusta Raurica and much more. We are also quite attractive as a starting point for visits to Basel (Beyeler Museum, ART Basel, etc.). You can easily reach Basel within 1/2 hour by public transport. We are also happy to advise you on further excursions in our beautiful region.

The studio “Glärnisch” is located in the listed Oberhaus on lake Zurich. Since 2021, the elegant wine-grower’s house from 1743 houses a B&B. The studio is located on the south-east side of the building and consists of two rooms and a bathroom with shower/toilet. It is suitable for a maximum of 4 adults. Breakfast and sauna can be booked. Shared use of the private access to the lake is included. Parking spaces are available, the train station is 5 min. away from the accommodation.

Double room "Säntis" with kitchenette

The double room “Säntis” is located in the listed Oberhaus on lake Zurich. Since 2021, the elegant wine-grower’s house from 1743 houses a B&B. The double room with a bathroom and a separat toilet is located on the first floor on the north-east side of the building. It is suitable for a maximum of 4 adults. Breakfast and sauna can be booked. Shared use of the private access to the lake is included. Parking is included, the train station is 5 min. away from the accommodation.

We have a quiet nighttime policy from 11 p.m. No showering or loud door closings are permitted! Please keep quiet in the evenings. The accommodation is 10 min. by bus from the trainstation Luzern, 8 min. from the old town away. Our good location offers many travel options 😉

We – Walter & Regula Wohler – opened a three-star bed & breakfast certified by BNB Switzerland in our detached house at Untere Bündt 12 in 8505 Dettighofen in 2022. We have a family with seven children who have all moved out. Now the rooms are empty and we have refreshed the rooms and provided them for a B&B.
