Beautiful apartment in a great location. Private, quiet. William was super nice and accommodating and allowed us to check into the place earlier when I asked. Bed was super comfortable and my husband loved the pillows. Washer and dryer were a major convenience. Would highly recommend.

Our experience at Carrie's studio apartment was just what we needed after a busy day attending to a family project. The apartment is spacious and nicely appointed with a comfortable bed, couches and lounging chair. The kitchen is well-equipped and the bathroom neat and clean. Although we didn't have much time to enjoy it, a small outside porch overlooking a lower garden and an expanse of a neighbor's green lawn was an added perk. The apartment is a short walk into the village of Shelburne Falls with its diverse shops, many eateries, pharmacy (good spot for an ice cream soda), small grocery store (an organic oriented store is just across the bridge), bookstore, and very nice wine store (near the Pot Holes). Don't miss Gypsy Apple, a culinary treat for a special occasion (check for the evenings open as they are limited). Our respite at Carrie's was peacefully quiet and restorative. I have no reservations about recommending Carrie's lodging.

My wife and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and we’re going to spend a few days in NY. This place caught my eye because it was unique and I like things that are a little different than everything else. The instructions to access the location were crystal clear and we had no trouble getting in. The place was exactly as described in the listing including photos. Everything was clean and appeared to be in new condition. Best part about it, their bakery and coffee shop right below the apartment….perfect! We got to meet Scott and Vanessa before we left and they were both great! Can’t say enough good things about this place. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a unique place to stay that is affordable and gives you the bonus of pastries and coffee below. Thanks!

Linda was a lovely host. She has orange juice, granola, coffee, and milk ready for us which made the mornings so peaceful and easy. The house is wonderful and clean. It is very walkable and close to everything, especially downtown.

The getaway apartment was just as described. Peaceful, private, and with ample space and amenities for a family of three. We enjoyed our weekend!

Cheri was an amazing host! She has created a spot that feels both like home and a luxury hotel accommodation. The rental is tucked away from the street, is quiet and private and feels relaxed despite being polished and pristine. Cheri was quick on communication on the Airbnb platform and also popped in to make recommendations and to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed shortly after check-in. The space was perfect for the 2 of us, and we felt right at home. The kitchen is equipped with just the right amount - not too much, not too little. The lighting and fixtures in every room are thoughtfully chosen, and there are 2 heat pump/ AC units making the whole space comfortable. If you are going to Burlington, this is a perfect spot, a 10ish minute walk from church street marketplace. There are many restaurants and places to grab a cup of coffee or tea and a bite to close by. Also, a short walk from the water and a couple of parks. We're very happy with our stay!

Where do I start...from before I arrived, up until my departure...Joanne was attentive in every way possible. All my questions were answered with an immediate response. The home was extraordinary. The effort Joanne has put in to making it just like home shows. With an abundance of whimsical touches. Up until the day I left, I would see a new thing. As if the enchanting home wasn't enough, the back patio is a place of serenity...with the sounds and view of the river extraordinary. I could go on and on, but I will just say, "it was the best vacation I have ever had". One word describes this Airbnb...AMAZING!!!🩷. I will return next year! We had a wonderful & relaxing weekend here with a large group for my sister's lowkey bachelorette party. Even with a day of non-stop pouring rain, we were perfectly content with staying in and enjoying the coziness of the house. We had a blast watching the chickens roam around and hanging out with the overly-friendly barn cats while we sat outside. The goats & pigs were happy to greet us at the fence every time. The hot tub and pool were perfect! Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a beautifully scenic and peaceful getaway. Thanks, Sarah & BBVF team!

So glad we found this amazing place! It is nestled off the road in a quiet, beautiful location. The downstairs area is spacious, with a pool table and a dart board. The electric fireplace was such a nice addition for the colder than usual evening. Penny was such a great host! Fun filled fact- the space is filled with such pretty photos. I was so interested in them that I looked up the photographer and turns out it was Penny! I ended up purchasing a few pieces and I can’t wait to add them to my space at home! Absolutely loved this house, this lake and surrounding area. The house was ideal for us. We had a full house with 10 guests for our son’s wedding. Could not have been more perfect. Adults loved the house, spa and views. Grandkids fell in love with the lake and dock. (And pet carp!) Rich was very helpful with questions and left clear instructions (and wonderful stories) at the house. We talked about coming back even before we left. Cheers!

Beautiful spot, modern and clean house. We loved the hot tub, super clean. Nicely designed and decorated house, great views. Bring bug spray if you stay in June, the black flies are intense. Great hosts, would definitely stay here again.

Location, location!This is a beautiful location, on the St lawerence river. We enjoyed watching the boats pass by, bird watching, and smelling the flowers. There are 2 full kitchens with with everything you could need. Lots of space with 2 full living rooms and 3 bedrooms. There are bikes to use and canoe. We loved our stay, and cant wait to come back! Lexi is a great hostess very kind and helpful.

Our group had an all-around incredible experience at this house. The location is unbeatable, the property was beautiful and the hosts were very attentive. I hope to stay here again on my next trip to beautiful Lake Placid!

My family and I had an awesome stay in Tina's apartment. We took full advantage of the outdoor pool and the indoor spa space, which were both fantastic. The unit was a clean, cozy and comfortable place to return to at the end of busy days. Tina was an exceptional host - one of the most responsive/helpful experiences I've had with an Airbnb host. We would definitely stay here again!

Caitlyn An excellent host quick to respond despite moving with her babies the same day as my trip! She was accommodating and provided a clear quick easy in from my late night travel. Her space is large and spacious with great set up lighting and comfortable and clean bedding. Loved the couch bedding set up! The entrance allowed ease to store the ski stuff so roomy keeping the living space free of the typical ski vacay clutter! The bathroom shower temp and pressure with soft towel and wash cloths provided with soap, and shampoo and conditioner gave a nice end of the day relax. Plenty of blankets for layering that may be needed. Kitchen appointed well with a good stove and oven easy to use and to easy prepare with pans and utensils for cooking, plenty of silver ware and plates glasses and plates that i truly appreciated. Couldn't use the ski in/ ski out as that lift was this late int eh season but how easy was it to scoot down in 2 min! Will be my stratton stay always onward!

Great location! Condo exactly as advertised, great directions. Host communicated regularly and was extremely helpful, I would not hesitate to stay here again!

My wife and I have been to Stowe six times and have explored six different pla es to stay. All have been great, BUT we are done exploring. Michael's place is the BEST for our needs...close to the village and close to the ski lifts. Spotless, easy to find, great parking, fully equipped with all amenities. Simply the best!

The place was great, clean, nice bathrooms. The oven seemed like it wouldn't go up to temperature at one point so I messaged the host and they responded right away to get the maintenance folks over. But it turned out that it was just set to Celsius and I was able to look up how to change it online (Hold down the broil button!). There were PLENTY of towels/linens which was nice.
