Tucked along a tree-lined street on the island of Alameda, this thoughtfully restored 1885 Victorian cottage offers a quiet, ground-floor retreat. The bedroom features a queen bed, living room includes a queen pullout sofa. A sleek kitchenette is equipped with a two-burner electric cooktop, compact refrigerator/freezer, microwave, sink, and portable oven. A dedicated work desk with high-speed internet completes this refined space for guests who appreciate boutique comfort and timeless design.

Garden entry private suite near shops and transit

Spacious 500 square ft. guest suite, five steps down from private at- grade garden entry, within our beautiful 1904 Dutch colonial on a quiet street in lovely Alameda. The space has standard 8ft ceilings, plenty of natural light with 6 full size windows and a patio space in our lovely garden. Amenities include Roku TV, kitchenette appliances but not a full kitchen. The Queen bed and the full size sofa bed can sleep a family of 4. Easy walk to public transit, restaurants, shops and parks.

Cute, backyard Cottage w/ close access to all!

Great space for a lovely trip to the Bay Area! Located in a very safe & quiet neighborhood of Alameda. The cottage has a private bathroom with shower (no tub), a kitchenette with microwave, and the most comfortable queen bed. Close to Oakland Coliseum, BART, SF, Oakland Airport, and ferry to SF. Great access to Bay Farm Trail and just a short walk to restaurants and shopping. ** Please note that the bed is against the wall, so if you are a group of two, one person will be against the wall.

Fully-equipped studio in victorian home

Fully-equipped studio apartment in Alameda victorian home. Spacious, with modern amenities (WiFi, Netflix), free coffee and tea, queen-size bed, and big yard, shared with the main house. Separate entrance through the backyard. Young kids live in the upstairs house part-time (see “other notes”) and can be loud until 9:30pm. We’re a dog-friendly space and love hosting pups (maximum of 2, house trained)! Please note that we’re not able to accommodate cats at this time. Lab lives in property.

We are happy to welcome you to our quiet, spacious studio guest suite! Our guest suite is on the ground level of our split-level mid-century modern home with a private side entrance. The bedroom is spacious and includes a comfortable pillow-top queen bed. The luxury bathroom has a large, glass-enclosed shower with a rain shower head, two vanities, and a walk-in closet. Inside the walk-in closet, we've also curated a coffee & tea station with a mini fridge and a cold/hot water dispenser.

Cozy Watertower by Beach and Transit

This 100-year old water tower in our backyard supplied water to beach cottages on our street. It's been renovated into a tiny home, mostly using reused or upcycled materials. We're happy to share it with guests looking for a quiet & unique place to stay in the Bay Area. It has its own entrance, private courtyard and is located one block from the beach, pinball museum, transit, farmers market, coffee shops & restaurants. You’ll love it because it's quaint and conveniently located.

Alameda Zen Cottage

This private zen cottage, is conveniently located near major ferry service, train,and bus lines to San Francisco and other cities surrounding Alameda. The cottage offers a outdoor private court yard area. Inside the cottage you will find a desk, living room area , queen size bed with cozy bedding, a kitchenette area with microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, with complimentary tea, coffee and creamer, and last but not least the bathroom with a toilet and shower.

Charming 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment in Victorian duplex. Walking distance to great restaurants, movie theater, and Park Street nightlife. One block to express bus into San Francisco or a short drive to the ferry terminal in Alameda or Bart station in Oakland. Please note: Once inside the unit there is one flight of stairs (16) to the apartment. The Victorian era staircase is narrow and steep and may not be suitable for guests with mobility concerns.

You'll be 2 blocks away from Crab Cove beach and visitor's center, and only 1 block away from Webster Street with easy bus access (AC Transit), many nice restaurants, a small market, hardware store, farmer's market and post office. The Alameda Ferry Terminal is also nearby for hops over to San Francisco or Oakland's Jack London Square. This apartment is great for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with or without kids).
