Holiday rentals with lake access in Alingsås

We had a great weekend in this cute little cottage - perfect for a family! Here you will find what you need for a comfortable stay, including internet/wifi that works well for watching TV. However, it is not really enough for several devices at the same time, but it did not matter - around the corner there is a nice forest path to explore and the opportunity to borrow one of Ida's bikes. The outdoor grill was also a big plus! The location is private and peaceful, yet only 5–10 minutes by car to the store. We would be glad to come back!

The accommodation is very pleasant, clean, organized and cozy. The price is affordable and really worth it. I've stayed here before and I'd definitely come back. The host is very attentive and helpful, which makes the experience even better.

A slice of Swedish forest paradise. Such a lovely space with beautiful and thoughtful touches, an extremely helpful guide to the area and even tips for lighting a fire! The sauna is amazing too. You won’t regret a stay here! Five stars is not enough.

We had the most amazing stay at Lennarts cabin, and they made us feel very welcome and at home from the beginning! We loved spending time in the nature, swimming in the lake, relaxing in the sauna, fishing etc. etc. Very recommendable!

The location is absolutely serene, quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature with the lake just steps away. No neighbors, no noise—just pure relaxation. The house itself is beautifully designed with a cozy, thoughtful touch in every detail. You can feel the care and love they’ve put into it. Whether enjoying a quiet morning by the water or a relaxing evening inside, everything about the space invites calm and comfort. This is a true hidden gem and perfect for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge. We left feeling refreshed and grateful, and we already hope to return! Great apartment in a stunning location. Small and compact we needed a stop off on a journey from north to south Sweden so it was perfect for one night.

Carina and her husband are very friendly and helpful hosts! We felt comfortable right away. The apartment is beautiful, super clean and equipped with everything you might need. The view of the lake is fantastic and the location in the middle of nature is fantastic. We spent 6 great nights at Carina's place and we'd love to come back anytime!

I was staying for World Masters Athletics event and Rita’s place was perfect, I could store food in the fridge with a small freezer and cook with oven hob and microwave. I hired a car as my venues were spread out but public transport Is also easily accessible. Rita and her husband are wonderful hosts, always helpful and responsive. The view is amazing and whilst Rita was keeping their gorgeous dog away I enjoy animals so was happy to meet Frankie who is as friendly as his owners. A charning, simple apartment exactly as described perfect for my stay😊

Natalie’s place was the perfect home base for our girls weekend. Ideally situated close to the forest and the lake, but not too far out of Gothenburg. The space itself was clean and functional and Natalie was very kind to provide us with treats and recommendations on arrival. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the area who is hoping to get a bit more access to nature.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ann Marie’s place. The home is absolutely beautiful, clean, and equipped with everything needed for cooking—which was especially convenient since dining out for every meal can get expensive. The garden was adorned with lovely flowers, adding to the charm. We appreciated the ample supply of towels and bedding, and the tasteful paintings throughout the house created a welcoming atmosphere. While the location is a bit outside the city, it’s easily accessible by car. We would love to return and highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic stay, I ended up not being well for one of the days so spent more time in the Airbnb than planned. It was so well equipped, spacious and had a lovely vibe that it ended up being a wonderful stay even though I wasn’t 100% well. One of the best airbnbs we have stayed in and fantastic value for money. Would definitely recommend.

We spent 10 days at this lakeside property, and it met our expectations. The house was as described, offering a peaceful setting with a pleasant view of the lake. The heating was on upon our arrival, providing a warm welcome. For fishing enthusiasts, the location is quite convenient. The lake nearby offers fishing opportunities, and a short drive takes you to another lake known for its rainbow salmon. Additionally, Gothenburg is approximately a 35-minute drive away, making it easy to explore the city. During our stay, we experienced several rainy days, which gave us the chance to use the indoor BBQ—a nice feature that added to our comfort. Overall, this property offers a quiet and convenient base for those looking to enjoy nature and fishing, with easy access to nearby attractions.

It's amazing what was housed in such a small house. We were just passing through, and what we needed for our stay was available. There was nothing missing. Small paradise in the middle of Swedish nature. Jennifer and Linus are lovely and friendly people who let us enjoy their nice guest house with sauna, jetty and a kanoe. I hope to come back some time again.
