Sit back and relax – in this quiet, stylish accommodation with its own garden, sauna and hot tub and direct access to the hiking trails in the beautiful Harz Mountains. The colorful city of Wernigerode with its cultural and culinary offerings and the beautiful half-timbered houses is within walking distance (about 10 to 15 minutes). Our vacation home was completed in the summer of 2025 and offers every comfort (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, underfloor heating, fireplace, open kitchen/dining area).

Superior apartment on the first floor with 5 stars

Furnished with a lot of love and equipped to a high standard, the 105 m² "Superior Apartment" with a fitted kitchen has many extras, such as Apple TV, large flat-screen TV, soundbar, whirlpool bathtub, 25 m² terrace, Jacuzzi, seating area, fire bowl, gas grill and a beach chair on the covered balcony. Max 4 guests have enough space here to relax and for time together by the wood-burning stove or in our sauna. In our spa area, they complement each other to create a harmonious temporary home.

Blockhaus Philip an der Skiwiese

Haus Philip is a very cozy and modern log cabin directly in an exposed unique location on the ski slope. The location is perfect: it is close to nature and central - borders DIRECTLY on the nature reserve and apart from the ski and toboggan meadow, the Wurmberg cable car (250 m) and the town center are also accessible. Newly built in the fall of 2016, the house has an upscale, friendly-modern interior - with underfloor heating, fireplace, private sauna, Sky and Netflix and a BOSEbox

Vacation home on the castle hill

The vacation home in Harztor/Ilfeld is idyllically located on the edge of the forest on a 2000 sqm garden plot opposite the main house. Car parking on the premises, charging facilities for electric vehicles and bicycle garage are available. Ideal starting point for Harz explorers; as hikers, skiers, bikers, motorists or leisurely with the Harz Narrow Gauge Railways. Distance to train station, supermarket, restaurant about 500 m. Free Wi-Fi. Laundry service by appointment.

The River Lodge (10% discount starting from one week)

We rent a house renovated in June 2018 with about 90 m² of living space in the small mountain town of Lautenthal. Here you will find a supermarket, a butcher, an outdoor pool, the Schnitzelkönig and doctors in the village. If you want to leave your car in the double carport, you will find a bus stop about 100 m away. The place is well located between Goslar, Seesen and Clausthal Zellerfeld. From here, both hikes and day trips by bicycle or car are easy to undertake.

Waldblick vacation home in Bad Grund

Welcome to the upper floor of a well-kept family house in a quiet side street with forest views. Bad Grund, with its half-timbered houses typical of the Harz Mountains, is located in a valley surrounded by the slopes of the Harz Nature Park. The numerous hiking trails through the mixed forest, past breathtaking viewpoints, are not only an experience for the trained hiker. Quaint forest inns invite you to rest, where you can be served regional delicacies.

A highlight in the World Heritage city of Goslar is the market square, which is a 5-minute walk from this exceptional apartment. It is located in a rear courtyard directly in the old town. Via a separate entrance you enter the staircase to reach the living area with living room, open kitchen and a bathroom on the first floor. From there you can enter the balcony. On the upper floor there are bedrooms and children's rooms. Rental from 2 nights.

The high-quality furnishings and the large garden with terrace allow you to unwind and leave everyday life behind. Situated directly on the edge of the forest, access to the hiking trail from the property provides a seamless entry into the wonderful healing climate hiking world of the Upper Harz.

Quiet room with private bathroom and entrance

The room has its own separate entrance and is located in the basement. A small hallway (which is only used by the guest) leads to the room. The room is connected to the private bathroom with shower. Optionally (for a fee), the sauna can be used. WiFi is available. A fridge and a microwave as well as a kettle are available for use. Bicycles and motorcycles can be safely stored in the garage.
