Great, basic place to stay while visiting Hope. Our cabin was clean and comfortable.

Great, private location. Easy drive to Seward, Whittier and Girdwood. Perfect place to drop out bags and build a fire a night. Would definitely recommend.

Shack in the Woods is a quaint experience tucked away in the Hope area. Our cozy room had all the things that it described and was very spacious. Our host was very kind and provided wood for our stove. They provided great advice hiking and food options. The shower service that was included was delightful with a hot water dispenser that came in handy after a chilly misty hike. I hope to come back sometime in the fall again to enjoy the magical tranquility of Hope.

Great Airbnb for couples! The place was very clean, had room to store skis and I really appreciated the pre-loaded woodstove! The kitchen is small, but has everything you need to make simple meals and the views are fantastic. Also it's within walking distance to a beautiful waterfall. Overall would stay again!

Location was good. Place is clean and well furnished. It is a downstairs apartment so noise from upstairs neighbors can be an issue if you’re not on the same schedule. Otherwise would definitely rent again.

The Cider Shed is a perfect little bnb for a weekend in Anchorage!

The studio was cozy, spotless, spacious, and clearly put together with care—so many thoughtful extras like toothbrushes, a band-aid (which came in handy for my daughter!), and even some chocolates. The bed was SO comfy and the pull out couch bed was perfect for our kiddo. It’s right in town but still feels tucked away and peaceful. You can tell they put real heart into the space. We would gladly stay here again next time we are in town!

This was the best Air B & B my family has visited. It was gorgeous, peaceful and had everything we needed and then some! Crystal was an amazing host and always making sure we had everything we needed.

My stay was perfect! Rebecca was lovely. The place was immaculate, spacious and very well appointed. The location is ideal—close to the airport, easy to find, and minutes from downtown. I was very much at home. It felt very private, looked out into the yard with flowering plants and a nice lawn bordered by trees. Seeing the train go by that evening was magical. I’ve found my home away from home when I’m in Anchorage! Thank you Rebecca!

We had an awesome time staying here! The view is absolutely amazing. Relaxing in the hot tub looking at the mountains and watching the wildlife on the lake made it worth every dime. The house was very clean, very nice bathroom and kitchen, and super comfortable bed. Will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful & peaceful cabin. We came with our two kids for a birthday get away, they had a blast walking down to the river and playing on the deck with their toys! We look forward to future stays!

The loft is spacious, well appointed, tastefully decorated and very comfortable, I cannot say enough about the property, it is stunning! The Mountain View’s are incredible and the grounds well kept, I was in awe even as a lifelong Alaskan.

Convenient place to stay in Anchorage!

10/10 stay at Brad’s home! Beautiful surroundings and home. Looked just like the photos and we appreciated having all of the amenities listed out. Wonderful and proactive communication by Brad and the Hatcher Pass area is stunning. We were sad we only had only had one night in this area. There were so many kind little touches including a hand written note and snacks when we walked in along with bathroom amenities that most airbnbs don’t have. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!!

Harlan is a wonderfuly kind host. The accommodations were clean and even stocked up with cleaning supplies so i could keep the enviroment nice during my stay. I found Harlan to be a good communicater and was very pleased in his interest in what i was doing as well as encouraging ( i was going to school to aquire my CDL). I would return to his place for recreation and to catch up with him as a friend. Simply a wonderful experience with a real gentleman for a host.

Carl’s home was perfect for our overnight in Anchorage. We needed it to be near airport and train station. Home was spacious, clean and Carl was a great host. Wish we could have stayed longer. We would book again.

Best neighborhood in Anchorage, not biased because we live here. Rented for my in-laws, they were amazed at the comfort and cleanliness. They kept saying how thoughtful the host was and how well equipped the house was. Comfy beds, quiet, well equipped kitchen. Would rent again!!

Great place to stay for our tenth anniversary! Was exactly as described in the listing, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful with a great view of the mountains from the back yard. Hot tub area was clean, private, and relaxing! We will definitely come back some time in the future.
