Cabin holiday rentals in Anchorage

We had a wonderful time. What a beautiful lake and a wonderful hot tub! The cabin was so homey and had everything we needed. We enjoyed building a fire in the stove and watching movies while overlooking a beautiful lake. We would recommend this cabin and Shanna was very helpful!

Jim’s cabin was immaculate! It comes with every amenity imaginable. Incredible fishing with views of mountains.

Great location for a weekend stay. Easy access to Anchorage (~45 minutes away), Girdwood Restaurants and Shops (~5 minutes away), and great middle point if you want to hike the Kenai or explore Whittier. Easy check-in with lots of amenities like hot tube, laundry on-site, coffee makers, etc.

Loved the cabin! Perfect for me and my two teenage boys in June. Plenty of space for us. Hot tub was magical after a long hike. Location is great - easy 3 min drive or 20 min walk into Girdwood for meals. Would absolutely stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Cozy Cab-Inn. The cabin was perfect for me and my family. The cabin is beautiful and spacious surrounded by the forest and mountains, we were in awe of the views from the upstairs. The location was amazing, you’re close to everything but still feel secluded for that full Alaskan experience. Overall we had an amazing stay and would book this cabin again! Thank you so much!

I could write a novel, and it still wouldn’t capture just how special this AirBnB location is. This was our first trip to Alaska, and we were looking for accommodations that would get us beyond the “big city” environment of Anchorage. We were hoping for immersion in nature and privacy to relax. This cabin was exactly that and more. The shining jewels were its massive deck with a wood-fired hot tub, comfy chairs, and gas fireplace where we enjoyed morning espresso (made ourselves at the cabin!) and evening soaks. The other outstanding feature was the kitchen. Not only were we provided all the spices and basics you’d hope not to have to buy yourself, but we also had access to a range of high-grade pots and pans, an espresso machine with local roast provided prior to check-in, a full stovetop, and an air fryer/toaster oven. We enjoyed a majority of our meals right at the cabin. Michelle was immediately responsive any time we needed anything. Already looking forward to booking again!

We stayed at the Fireweed Guesthouse for two nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The cabin was impeccably clean and thoughtfully stocked with every amenity imaginable- even things we didn't realize we needed until we saw them, such as lavender bubble bath to relax after a cold, windy day. There were even sleep masks and noise machines on the bedside tables. The view from the deck was stunning, making it the perfect spot to relax and take in the peaceful surroundings. Despite another cabin nearby, the property felt completely private. We didn't see or hear another soul during our stay, which made the tranquility even more enjoyable. We appreciated the early check-in time, as we were traveling with my parents who are in their seventies and needed some extra downtime. Timothy even offered to let us stay past checkout time. We highly recommend the Fireweed Guesthouse for anyone looking for a quiet and well-appointed retreat.

One of my favorite Airbnbs to stay at. The cabin is a beautiful house and was immaculate and felt very pristine. The interior wood planks and logs are a delight to look at, all the way up to the open ceiling that goes to the loft. I spent a lot of time watching the fog and clouds roll through the surrounding hills, and at night the lights of Anchorage are seen from the loft. The location is convenient if you’re heading southward, but close to downtown as well. Great hiking a short drive away. Quiet and clean with no surprises. Would love to spend more time there.

Great location - exactly as advertised!

Took a boys trip with 3 friends and I selected Susanna’s home as our second choice as our first choice had raised the price of rental. This was easily the best decision we made. Susanna’s home in Wasilla was a prime location for our boys trip as we were able to adventure in any direction and enjoy amazing sights without having to drive an extra hour if you’re staying in downtown Anchorage. I was impressed with all of the amenities offered by Susannas home. The kitchen was very spacious and was stocked with every seasoning we could need. It often became our central gathering area of the house. Another treat to be able to view the Aurora Borealis from the comfort of the outside deck. Huddling around the fire pit was also very calming during these snowy nights. Overall, I would say this home is excellent place for you and your family (or friends) to stay if you want to enjoy the natural beauty of Lower Alaska without having to drive too far. The place is cozy, warm and in a quiet area, but still close to centre. It gives you the home feeling, good private place with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We enjoyed every moment there

Will absolutely book this cute cabin again! I was in town for a State Wrestling tournament and this was 10minutes away from the Menard Center which was perfect! The cabin is quintessential Alaskan and I wouldn't have it any other way. Communication and check-in was a breeze. Clean, cute, had everything and more than I expected.
