Family-friendly holiday rentals in Anderson

Gorgeous mountain retreat is a perfect way to describe this property. I found everything in the description of this property to be true. In my opinion Karla’s description was very humble and we found the property to be much better than expected. Entire family celebrated my father’s 90th birthday, and found the house plenty spacious for all of us. With full living space on the main level and downstairs we never felt crowded.The house was immaculate and very well stocked with items that were above and beyond any other property I’ve ever stayed in right down to the firewood. Directions were easy to follow and communication was always done in a timely fashion. If you want to relax, do nothing, enjoy the views this is the place for you. If you want to be active, go hiking, play golf, tennis, etc. this is the place for you. If you want to grill out and watch football with the gang, this place is for you. So if you have a large group, and you are looking for a mountain getaway, I recommend that you stop looking and book this property NOW!!

Great location, close to a lot what the area has to offer.

This place was so peaceful and relaxing. We stayed on the dock or around the fire pit. Mornings were spent drinking coffee on the deck with the gorgeous lake views. Never even turned the TV on. The house was clean and well stocked. There’s lots to do in the area as well. Definitely will be back.

Our family of 5 couples and 2 small children loved our stay at Sunsets and Siestas. The home has lots of space, the family suite was a big hit, the master suite is beautiful and spacious, the kitchen very well appointed and the decks, patios are excellent. We used the boat slip including the lift as well as the kayaks and paddleboards. The home had everything we needed and then some. We would definitely return.

The house is beautiful, spacious, and relaxing, with an amazing view of the lake and surrounding wildlife. Spotting bald eagles, blue herons, and hawks was a special treat.

This is a great place to stay. We had a full house and cooked a lot. The kitchen is huge and very well equipped for making meals there. There were spices and lots of pots and pans. The beds were comfortable, and the linens were clean and not worn. We never ran out of hot water. The hot tub and fireplaces were an added bonus. Stephen always replied in a timely manner the few times I had a question. The listing says the driveway is steep. It's spot on. Everyone had a great time, and we enjoyed our stay!!!

Great weekend getaway in the mountains! Location is just a short drive from downtown Highlands. Beautiful cabin and hospitality!

We absolutely loved our time at Fire and Water. We stayed in the Hemlock cabin which was extremely clean and well appointed. Hiram and Matthew were excellent hosts. The place was the perfect blend of upscale and laid back. The grounds are gorgeous and picturesque. The restaurant is stunning with beautiful views and artwork. One evening, we enjoyed a spectacular sunset. Even our dog had a wonderful time and loved country living. Short and beautiful ride to the Highlands. Being out of the Highlands bustle made for an ideal and relaxing getaway. We can’t wait to visit again soon.

such a great place to stay. it was wonderful to bring our dogs with us. great fenced in back yard. super walkable everywhere. host was very easy to work with. would stay here again.

We've stayed here multiple times and will return on our next visit to Easley. It's a VERY nice apartment, beautifully decorated, very quiet, always very clean, and conveniently located near all the things we visit Easley for. It's also so nice to be able to bring our dog. And, to top it off, Shannon & Dave are just super-nice people!! We highly recommend this apartment!!

This is our 3rd time staying at this location. It is perfect location for riding the Swamp Rabbit Trail and was very close to Furman University where we had a few events. Look forward to returning next year!

THE HOUSE WAS PERFECT FOR OUR FAMILY OF 8 INCLUDING MY 2 KIDS WHO HAD A GOOD TIME, VERY CLEAN AND VERY COMFORTABLE EVERYTHING WAS CLOSE BY, THE HOST WAS THERE ALL THE TIME IF YOU NEEDED SOMETHING DEFINITELY RECOMENDED

We arrived to Greenville for my son's wedding. I was looking for a place that would accommodate six adults. We hit a home run. The location was spot on having to step outside on North Main Street. Our rehearsal dinner was across the street at Sassafras Southern Bistro. The living room area/ Kitchenette open space construction was perfect for all of us. Place was extremely clean,close to main st highlands but far enough away to be quiet, Becky responded within a few minutes, had a fantastic time in highlands and surrounding area,we travel to highlands often, first time using a airbnb loved it!!Becky's a great host to work with.

The location was great....good neighborhood close to Furman University. The Swamp Rabbit trail ran right behind the house. We liked that was the last house on a dead end so it was nice that there was only a neighbor on one side. The backyard was awesome, especially for the dogs. The house was quaint and cutely decorated, just like the description. I would definitely stay here again! But next time, we would definitely bring bikes so we could ride the trail!

This is a beautiful and very comfortable home that’s in an exceptional location, just three short blocks to a ton of restaurants. Anything we might have needed was available in the home and was clearly labeled so we could find it. The bed was comfortable and everything was spotless. We’d definitely stay here again.

Great location. Safe neighborhood. Very large home. Lots of large bedrooms with plenty of desk space for computers. Community pool was outstanding. Quick response time.

An absolute gem of a cabin. The pictures didn't do it justice. The cabin itself was stunning and homey. Lovely kitchen with all the necessities. The view was incredible! I don't think we could have found a better place.

Our family enjoyed our time at Leslie’s place. Perfect location for our family trip for Clemson graduation. We had enough space and the ground floor made it perfect for the older folks. Strongly recommend staying here if visiting Clemson for any reason. If you have a specific bed requirement, you should note both the mattress and pillows were very soft. As someone who prefers a sturdier pillow and firmer mattress, I did end up using a different pillow my daughter brought us from her apartment. Outside of that I can’t say enough good things about our experience. Would 100% stay here again. Leslie is lovely.

Great deal 15-18 minute walk to Greer Station Nice pool and backyard - unit was well worth the value and price

Wow! What an awesome home! Natalie was so accommodating and quick to respond! When we arrived, we were surprised at how much bigger the house was in person! The kitchen and amazing screened in porch is where we spent the majority of our time! The beautiful Lake Jocassee Is only about 40 mins away and definitely worth the drive! Thank you so much Natalie!!! We hope to be back for another friendcation next year!!!

We had a great stay! We got to enjoy the pool one day, although I think we scared off the person staying in the suite. The house was very clean, there was plenty of room. We loved the swings on the porch and in the yard. Would stay again! The hosts were also really nice and didn't yell at me when my brother-in-law ran over their mailbox with his car.... despite them having a sign that says, "Stop, don't hit my mailbox" 🤦‍♀️

Lisa's Lodge was wonderful; just perfect for the two of us. It was so nice to take a dip in the lovely pool, sit by the the beautiful lake and take walks around the grounds and up the road. Proximity to Anderson yielded a couple of good restaurants and it was also an easy trip to Greenville and its charms. Lisa is very nice and her son offered help in case we needed it during a rainstorm. What a happy experience! We both want to go back!
