Beach house holiday rentals in Avalon

This was the perfect beach getaway for me and my one year old while our home was getting worked on. So close to the beach, food & shops that we were able to walk everywhere. Would love to stay again(:

The cottage was so cute and spacious for us. We are literally 2 min away from the sand. Beds were comfortable. The only thing that stood out were how thin the blinds were in the upstairs bedroom. At night. You can see the outside lights and see the lights on every car that passes by as well. On our first night the neighbors to the left of us were loud. And on our last night the neighbors that arrived to the right of were super loud . We had to close our front door at some point. Other than that. We enjoyed the space.

A wonderful and convenient spot, this place is close to everything you need! Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops, and convenient store! Very short drive to nearby places such as Balboa Island! The place itself was exactly as pictured, very clean and quant. Perfect for our family of 4! The only thing I would mention is this is the bottom unit, half our stay we were there with no one above us, the other half did have renters above and the walls are quite thin! Luckily our daughters have a sound machine and were able to sleep through the walking around upstairs! Nothing the upstairs neighbors could have done but just something to keep in mind being the bottom unit :) still a 5-star experience in our opinion with all the other great things this house offers.

Loved the location on the peninsula. We were able to walk to the beach, to restaurants and really enjoyed being able to use the rooftop deck. Beds were super comfortable and the place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was very helpful also to have the garage for our car and e-bikes since parking is such a challenge in that area. Appreciated our host being available for any questions on arrival and throughout our stay. Hope to visit again!

We loved our stay in at the Newport Beach home! The view of the ocean from the patio was spectacular! We spent most of our time sitting on the patio. Beds were comfortable. We had all amenities we needed. The space was cozy, clean and well decorated. We plan to come back in a regular basis!

Old beach house with amazing location! Bay side was perfect for our younger kids. Will is so nice, responsive and gave us great recommendations for restaurants in the area. Would definitely recommend

Great place to stay for our Beach/Disney vacation. Just a block from the beach and 25 minutes to the parks. And everyone at HappiTravels was helpful— answered our questions and were there when we called.

Ann was very easy to communicate with and her place was nice and clean. My family and I had a great time staying at her place!

We just spent 5 nights at Mai’s Huntington Beach house and had a wonderful time. The location was easy to find and close to all the places we wanted to visit: Anaheim, Angel Stadium, Long Beach, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach and Laguna Beach. There was plenty of shopping around us and the Costco was just minutes away and it has a gas station. All of us from teens to seniors found the accommodation peaceful and spacious. We enjoyed lots of meals in the huge kitchen space and on the back patio beside the pool. Parking was easy and we always felt safe coming and going from the location. Thank you Mai !

Had a wonderful stay at DJ and Brandee’s home last weekend while my mom and I were in town for the Surf City Half Marathon! The house is gorgeous and comfortable with fantastic amenities - everything was as described. It’s a short walk to downtown and was perfect location for us to get to the starting line. The pool and their big comfy couch were perfect for our post-race recovery. The kitchen is awesome; I loved cooking in it. DJ and Brandee were fantastic hosts — always responsive and kind. Really appreciated their hospitality and highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Thank you!!!

We stayed here for our spring break with my 6 kids. Ages 23-5. We are not partiers just a family get away to relax and cook together. We booked this place based on the pool and it was worth it for us. The previous reviews were alarming about quiet hrs and it being strict but we had no problem and stayed in the pool till 945 at night. I did tell me younger 3 kids to be quiet at night to be respectful and they were for the most part but definitely got loud with their voice a few times. Great house no complaints beds were very comfy!

This Seal Beach house was a fantastic spot for my family’s vacation. We loved the vibe of the house and our kids loved the pool. The outdoor furniture was great, we spent most of our time outside enjoying the perfect weather. Everything in Seal Beach is walkable. Park the car and enjoy. Sue, the host was very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend this house.

the listing is accurate in all ways, and the place was spotlessly clean, had all manner of amenities and was well stocked for an easy stay. Use of the garage made going and coming a breeze. We paid extra for pool and spa heating, and had a great time using those. thank you, Denise!

Place is super private and spacious. It is nice and clean. Super comfortable, felt like home away from home. The balcony has a beautiful view. It is super close to the main town. The community is gated and has security so it’s very safe, quiet and peaceful. My husband and I loved our stay.

Beautiful home I recommend it for anybody to stay there

We hosted our daughter's bachelorette weekend here! It was comfy and really cute! It's super close to Vons and restaurants and pier. Great location and property management. We arranged a professional photos shoot of the bridal party and bride-to-be and the adorable porch made for great shots! We accidentally locked ourselves out and had to call after hours and someone came right over to give us an extra key. Note: there is a lock box on the door, put the key back in lock box or ask for extra key to keep with you because the front door automatically locks after closing it.

Our family enjoyed the place, the golf cart was a huge benefit.

The house, cleanliness, and location are great!! The place has FAR more family and kid-friendly amenities than they mentioned. We especially loved the toys like giant jenga and wooden connect four. The room with the Murphy bed and washer/dryer has space for a pack n play, which was great!! The house is on a decent hill, but it’s nice to have the exercise and really most of Avalon is pretty hilly. The location along the boardwalk is great though!

I loved staying here with my friends! The host was so kind and communicated with us throughout. I would definitely recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay for the second year in a row at this residence. We appreciated the quick response by the host when the refrigerator/freezer was not working upon arrival, and we came back from the beach to find it functioning properly. The street where it is located is generally quiet other than the noise from golf carts which is to be expected in Avalon. We realized the A/C was a wall unit, so we are not sure how effective it would have been at cooling the entire home, but we did not need it due to the perfect weather. We also greatly appreciated that the host comped us 2 nights from last year's booking when we had to evacuate the island early due to a tropical storm (extremely rare event!). Finally, everything is completely walkable in town, which is part of its charm, so the home was perfect for accessing the beach and restaurants while giving us a little space from the busy main walkway/beach. We will definitely consider renting this unit again when we next return to Avalon.

351D is a very nice cottage. Has heating and AC. Well done kitchen and bathtub in entry bathroom. Could use larger TV's love the decor and the stained glass. could use a laundry area. nice walkable location. don't need a golf cart. love the hand held shower heads. the master bed is fairy comfortable and warm blankets. thanks much. one of the nicest units on a quiet street.
