Holiday rentals with beach access in Babergh District

Beautiful apartment and well thought out. Shared garden space is huge and again beautifully designed and well thought out and importantly for us secure. Our doggies loved it too. So near to the beach we could swim and dry off back at the apartment. A short walk and you have all the great bars and restaurants Mersea offers. Kelly is a great host ,very responsive and accommodating.

Wonderful werkend stay and close by to amenities which suited elderly mum Exactly as described and was clean and peaceful, walking distance to great restaurant to celebrate birthday Everything that was needed was provided lots of space and great to have the garden space

A gem of an appartement in a great location despite the fact that the glorious past of the building is, well... in the past! The appartement is light and well appointed and has fascinating views of the industrial port and the town below.

We really enjoyed our stay at Robert and Lorraine's house. The flat is right opposite the beach which is amazing. The flat was very clean. Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of clean towels which was very handy. overall a very positive experience.

The place was really good location Clean ,tidy Only thing we would say is the bathroom and bedroom would benefit from a Venetian blind Like the kitchen one As we had to keep the curtains in bedroom and roller blind in bathroom shut all the time as the windows were big and felt looked upon from people outside We would definitely stay again

Beautiful apartment in a very peaceful setting. Surprisingly spacious and we were very grateful for the little touches of wine, croissants and toiletries. The hosts were so helpful with recommendations and swift with replies. The bed was comfortable and the balcony was just gorgeous. Thank you so much! Couldn’t recommend this stay more.

Great flat. (Worth the climb!) Spotlessly clean. Very quiet. Close to shops, cafes and beach but very quiet nonetheless.

Georgee’s flat/apartment, is a wonderful place with great amenities, tasteful furnishings and high end appliances; nothing was out of place. I am always impressed when an owner goes above and beyond on an AirBnB, especially the little touches which make a stay memorable and inviting. This flat is ideally located right in the middle of this small seaside town. Walking to the beach takes but a few minutes; a pleasant stroll at any time of the day. The beach huts were memorable, some of the cheeky names, and bright colours (walk south along the promenade). The anchor pub, is inviting, with lovely hosts, and great beer; the Thai restaurant produces lovely food; lastly the Turkish fish and chip shop, called Naze Fish &Chips (turn left out of the flat and keep walking, last shop before you walk into the sea on the left), served great freshly cooked food with generous portions. This is a must use rental, and lives up to the 5* rating.

The house was beautifully positioned/appointed with wonderful open plan living room and kitchen. bathrooms were all spotless, modern and well presented. Light, airy house with wonderful views of the surrounding sea. A special find, allowing good friends to enjoy some precious days walking and cycling in the glorious surrounding countryside. Host was very attentive and easy to contact - would highly recommend.

Dunwich is a beautiful seaside village with an interesting history. Beach was good (by North Sea standards but be sure to either have feet like old boots or preferably a pair of swimming shoes. The house is perfect for a family get as ours was with grandparents, maiden aunts, youngish couple and a toddler. Everything you could need and more.

We were delighted with the property. Beds extremely comfortable and linen, bathrooms, facilities very impressive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

We had a lively stay at Helen's, the garden is huge and is fenced (which was handy with a toddler), it has a playground and a small house for kids that our daughter loved. It also has a direct access to a field with two horses that were happy to be pet. The house itself is very large, clean, with a play room and lot of books and boardgames, and a very well equipped kitchen. We felt instantly at home. Helen even gave us spices we had forgotten and needed ro cook a dish. And of course, there was the jaccuzzi! It was the perfect gataway for a long week end. Would 100% recommend!

Great location for attending a wedding at Villiers Barn. House is really well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Gemma was really responsive prior to our stay and provided lots of useful information re the local area, places to eat etc. The hot tub was a big hit with all of us, particularly our 5 year old grandson!

Had a great stay at Claire's house. Claire was very helpful & responsive on messages. The location is perfect, walking distance to the village for the cafe's and the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and the outside space was perfect for relaxing in the afternoon and evening. Thanks Claire for a great stay!

This was our second stay at this wonderful property. The location is amazing and the area is so peaceful. The garden is an absolute sun trap. The property was so clean, the beds are really comfortable, lots of little extras that make it a complete home from home. We are already discussing our next visit, this will be a regular rental for our family, we love it.

Lovely cottage in a quiet area very near to the town centre, water front and pubs. Had everything we needed to make our stay a very enjoyable week. Plenty of things to do in and around the area and overall a very enjoyable experience.

What a fantastic stay! Kim was very communicative in the booking and check in process. The flat was spotless on arrival and she had left lots of treats for the stay with coffee/tea/condiments/spices. It felt just like a home away from home. The location was fantastic for walking everywhere as it's so close to the train station. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!

properties are very nice split level property that reminds me of an old Edwardian type property. It’s been very nicely done out the hot tub is really good and just generally everything just worked. The location is really good and we’d love to come back.

We stayed here for a couple of days whilst visiting family in Frinton. It was peaceful, extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean, well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. Carole's garden was very lovely with a friendly dog running around. Carole herself was friendly, relaxed and helpful. Well situated for Frinton and surrounding area. Definitely recommended.

We had a lovely weekend getaway at Tim’s place. I booked it very last minute and he was quick to get all the information to me to ensure a smooth entrance to the property. The flat itself is right on the beach with gorgeous views for your morning coffee! The flat is quiet and cosy and has everything you need for a relaxing trip. Thanks guys!

I met what I wanted, peaceful clean with everything working and easy to get to.

Just returned from a lovely 2 nights at Michaels place. As others have said the location is great as it's on the high street and only a few minutes to the lovely Frinton beach. Check in was easy and there is parking at the rear of the downstairs shop. It was really hot and Michael arranged a fan to try to cool us down, he was available for any queries we had, Michael and his partner were really accommodating hosts. The studio was really clean and is very pared back and stylish, would recommend for a trip to Frinton and would try to get to the downstairs weekend bar next time .

Had a great few days’ stay in Annetta’s house – loved the character of the place and surrounding gardens. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Annetta is extremely friendly and helpful and her contact beforehand was very good. Nice touches include the hot tub and breakfast bits in the fridge. This is an ideal location to relax and explore the coast and inland. I would definitely recommend and intend to return to explore more of the area. Many thanks!

Great place in prime location on the seafront . Place was bigger than expected and had everything you could need and more for a week’s stay . Really clean and tidy . Plenty of treats left for us and the dogs . Overall really happy with apartment and location . Will definitely stay again .
