Cabin holiday rentals in Barrington

We had such a great stay! The house was beautiful and in a perfect spot-close to our kids’ camp and not far from Lake Geneva, but still super peaceful and quiet. The place was really well thought out with stainless steel pots and cooking utensils (which I so appreciated!), plus coffee and tea stocked for us. The hot tub was amazing after long days, and I appreciated all the outdoor seating. The fire pit was perfect for making s’mores. Our kids are already asking when we can go back! You can tell the hosts put a lot of care into the space. It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay again!

This place was amazing and it was just getting ready for the change of seasons so the outside continued to get beautiful each day we were there. We saw deer every day and staff was very responsive. You get everything in the idea of a rustic stay but with modernized touches. Highly recommend seeing it for yourself.

Had a great time here with a group of friends. Loved having our dogs here with us, house was well-equipped for us to cook meals, enjoy the hot tub, paddle on the lake, play lots of volleyball, and relax indoors & outdoors.

The home is beautiful and very comfortable. We loved having the use of the hot tub. Just wish we could've stayed longer!

the place is great in the house there is quite a bit to do and the owners left a binder explaining a few things and with recommendations for restaurants and activities to do while there. the only problem that occurred what when first looking for the property it's fairly easy to miss both me my girlfriend and a pizza driver completely Missed it the first time around but once you know what your looking for it's easy to find. highly recommend if you get rained in like we did highly recommend watching the movies they have in the chest/coffee table. and the final compliment I can give is the place is well stocked with cookware and plates unlike most bnbs I've been to.

Debbie was fabulous to work with. Communication and helpful instructions were provided at both check in and check out. Would to come down this house as it exceeded expectations.

Wonderful time at this quiet safe and clean location. Bed and pillows very comfortable and well stocked kitchen. Loved the large sectional sofa and area. Bathrooms had toiletries provided in each of them. Water pressure in all showers were great. Kitchen area provided enough room to prepare and serve a group of 10 women. Kitchen table was large enough for all of us to sit and enjoy meals, games and other activities. Outdoor furniture was very comfortable and accommodating for group. Kayaks, paddleboards, life jackets were clean and ready to use. Great pier to get in and out of the water. Last comment the Pickleball court was spectacular and seating and places to put your water bottles were great. Definitely would recommed and would come back again in the future.

This house is a hidden GEM! We had a family wedding in Yorkville and at the nth hour decided to research houses to stay at versus local hotels (we had two families of four). Miriam’s amazing home was the first one that popped up and we stopped our search right there. This place has everything and spares no expense! Ample space, huge deck, and even larger living spaces throughout. All king sized beds (I have a queen at home and now am on the hunt for a king just because of this visit!). I could go on and on forever but the description is 100% accurate so I’d be repeating everything it says! It was literally the perfect stay for our nephew’s wedding weekend. Thanks again for everything!!

Highly recommend this bnb! Everything is as is listed in the description, and the value was 100% worth the price. This place is absolutely gorgeous, private, and on an amazing property. Beata is a 5 star host! She was extremely responsive, and answered all the questions my group and I had in an extremely timely matter. I would absolutely stay here again!

Overall, really enjoyed our stay. Our place was suprisingly spatious & had everything we could’ve possibly needed.

This was our family's first time doing any sort of "camping" (we had a cabin, did not bring a tent, so it was technically "glamping") but it couldn't have been a better time. Sylvia and her team all worked together to make sure everyone had a great time--whether staying in tents, in campers, or in cabins. There were fun activities throughout each day, the community bathrooms were cleaned throughout the day and night, the pool was nice, all the amenities such as the playground/gaga pit, jump pad were photographed and described so we knew just what to pack. There was a phone number you could text if you needed more firewood delivered (even after hours) which was REALLY nice. My kids LOVED the little store most of all...lots of basics like foil/firewood/milk/butter/aspirin to buy at reasonable prices as well as really great collection of well-priced toys and gems the kids loved shopping for. It was easy to say yes! Overall, it was a wonderful time and my kids said they want to go again!

Came here for my girlfriend‘s 21st birthday had an absolute blast very convenient. They had body wash shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms. Pictures were exactly what the Airbnb looked like. Thank you so much for Amanda and her crew. Definitely coming back again at some point.

The perfect weekend getaway spot where you can bring your pets!! Great location - short walk to the lake, water front restaurants nearby and quick car ride to downtown. Jim was very responsive. We will definitely be back :)

We were in town for a wedding and needed a place we could stay where we could leave our dog crates during the day. We got upgraded to a bigger cabin since they had space. It was perfect! Thank you for the stay!

Absolutely loved staying at Sylvia's! The camper is very conveniently located within the park - close to all the amenities and activities! Easy to access, beautiful grounds and a very peaceful stay for my family and I.

It is a quiet and peaceful place. My friends and I enjoyed completing the Lake Geneva Path trail challenge to celebrate our friend's birthday. It is the perfect location to enjoy Lake Geneva at a reasonable price. Glenn, thanks for sharing the place with us.

This space was perfect for our weekend! We had a large group and the house had enough space to feel comfortable. Jeanne was super responsive and had great recommendations. The fire put was lovely and the yard was big. I'd highly recommend this spot if you're hosting a trip to Lake Geneva!

Will definitely be recommending to any family or friends that want a waterfront getaway! Robyn and Tim were fantastic hosts and welcoming from the very second we stepped out of the car. The location of the property makes you feel secluded but also part of the lake life experience of the "Chain" all at the same time. Friends nearby had no trouble picking us up from the private pier for a boat ride, and Robyn also offered up use of the kayaks right away. The only thing I would change was how much time we were able to stay at the cabins and utilize the fire pit/beach/deck/etc. Need a stay in the future!

I recently stayed at this cabin and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, everything felt peaceful and welcoming. The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything I needed — from kitchen essentials to cozy blankets. The setting was absolutely breathtaking — tucked away in nature, with amazing views and total privacy.

If you’re looking for a relaxing stay on Fox Lake you’ve found the place…Andy has a beautiful home. It was perfect for our Thanksgiving Weekend away from the City, especially with the fireplace and windows overlooking the water. a perfect cozy spot for the Holiday.

Tim & Robin's place was wonderful! The cottage (#1) was exactly like the pictures and was very clean. Tim & Robin live on-site and we were greeted upon arrival. Through the weekend we had several passing conversations that were very pleasant. They had lots of solid recommendations and made sure we were comfortable. The property itself was simply dreamy! There was a nice beach area as well as an elevated deck overlooking the lake. We would definitely recommend renting here and plan on returning at some point in the future.
