Monthly Rentals in Båven

This was our second time staying at Jacqueline’s place in just 8 months—and it won’t be the last. Tucked away in the middle of the bucolic Swedish forest near Nyköping, it’s honestly the kind of spot you daydream about when you need to escape the city. Cozy, welcoming, and full of warmth, the place gives off that rare “you’re exactly where you’re meant to be” vibe from the moment you arrive. Waking up here is something else. Barely any traffic, just the sounds of nature and the soft light filtering through the trees. Wildlife casually passing by, and the colours of the forest and the grass—it’s peaceful in a way that’s hard to put into words. Jacqueline is a great host, and everything is always clean and ready, just like last time. We’ll definitely be back again.

I absolutely enjoyed my time at Carina's stugan. Carina did her utmost to make me feel welcome and at home. Communication with Carina was very easy. She always reacted swiftly to my messages and gave me many useful tips. The little hut is very well-equipped, clean and tidy, and nicely decorated. The surroundings are peaceful. Taxinge Castle (impressive cake buffet), Mariefred with Gripsholm Castle and the amazing Mälaren Lake and Strängnäs are just a short drive away. I can definitely recommend this accomodation and I will certainly come back.

Beautiful house in a very quiet location with many mushrooms all around. The big terrace, as well as the nearby lake were a highlight. Communication with Anna was outstanding. The beds were very cozy, but there were no doors between the rooms, except for the bathroom. The decor was cozy and functional and the equipment available very extensive and the appliances modern. Too bad we only found that access to the house or the nearest village was only possible via a bumpy gravel road, the jetty on the lake was lined with many fallen trees (risk of accident), and that there were three parts missing in our puzzle. All in all, but really highly recommended.

Wonderful hospitality for our bike trip around the region. We’re kind enough to do dinner for us in addition to breakfast. Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you!
