Our stay was incredible. The pictures don’t do justice for the view and the house. We look forward to staying here again!

Wir haben die Unterkunft von Manfredi für einen Urlaub mit 8 Leuten gemietet. Der Check-In hat durch die Mithilfe von Manfredi sehr gut funktioniert. Wir waren sofort von dem Haus und der Lage fasziniert. Es ist zwar etwas abgelegen, aber mit dem Auto ist man innerhalb von 15 Minuten in Marsciano. Dort befinden sich alle Geschäfte, die man so braucht. Das ganze Grundstück ist gut gepflegt und sauber. Auch die Innenausstattung ist sauber und typisch für die Gegend. Die Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet, inklusive einer großen Kühltruhe. Zuletzt möchte ich noch die herausragende Kommunikation und Hilfsbereitschaft von Manfredi hervorheben. Jede Frage wurde von Manfredi schnell und ausführlich beantwortet. Für jeden, der einen ruhigen Urlaub in der Umbria verbringen möchte, ist das Haus von Manfredi perfekt.

Andrea’s place was absolutely beautiful! As soon as you step into the house you felt like it was your home away from home. The wrap around porch was amazing to sit out with a glass of wine and enjoy the view. Andrea sent a wonderful PDF with great information and he was very responsive. The house is a short walk from the cute and quaint medieval town. There is a bus that can take you into the newer part of the town, but we never saw the bus. So you might to double check the schedule. I would highly recommend this place and can’t wait to visit it again for a longer period of time. Thank you for letting my family and I stay in your home.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt bei Sheetal und Vittoria. Die Unterkunft sowie der Garten/Pool waren wunderschön, wie beschrieben und alles ist sehr ordentlich und sauber. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und hatte alles, was man benötigt. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas erhöht in einem kleinen Dorf oberhalb von Touro, was einen wunderschönen Blick auf den See ermöglichte. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen!

The villa was peaceful and spacious. We felt very comfortable there for our month’s stay. It had wonderful views of Orvieto and the surrounding hills. Pia, Alessandro and Theresa were also great and very helpful.

I cannot recommend Villa Collombroso enough. We had such a wonderful 3+ week stay here with our two kids and family friends. Everyone was comfortable and at ease. We felt relaxed on the property and loved walking to see chickens. Everything was truly lovely and Taira and Gina made our experience excellent. We had a private meal cooked by Taira and did pizza making which were some of the best experiences! We enjoyed having a rental car and the access to drive into Orvieto easily but also quick day trips to Siena, Perugia, Assisi, Bolsena, and Lago Trasimeno. We used the train to get easily into Rome, Florence, and Venice. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Well, what can we say to sum up this perfect holiday?! Not only is Maria a wonderful, enigmatic host, the house itself is amazing, and full of character and charm. The beautiful surrounding olive groves and picturesque Italian towns are on your doorstep and there is a swimming pool and table tennis at your disposal. I don’t want to say too much more because I want to keep it as our secret! Grazie, Maria, we will be back!

Villa Scarponi ci ha stupito con la sua atmosfera calorosa, e accogliente come se fosse casa. Un oasi di pace al contatto con la natura, la casa pulitissima e Chiara è sempre stata vicina a noi con ottimi consigli. Se la vita ci riporterà in Umbria ci ritorneremo sicuramente. 🥰

Abbiamo passato la settimana di Ferragosto in questa residenza da sogno nel mezzo dell'Umbria. L'host, molto gentile e reattiva, ci ha messo in contatto con la persona che gestisce la casa, Elisabetta, che ha saputo fornirci tutte le indicazioni richieste ed aiutarci in tutto. Abbiamo trovato la casa in ottime condizioni, è molto spaziosa ed accogliente, con diverse opzioni tra barbecue e cucine. La zone è molto affascinante, in quanto si trova tra le colline umbre e permette di visitare i fantastici paesini intorno (consigliato portarsi la macchina). Infine la piscina era pulita giornalmente da Valerio, che si prendeva cura anche delle piante nel giardino e si occupava di svuotare la spazzature (grazie mille ancora). Per concludere, soggiorno più che piacevole.

Denyse’s place is lovely, very peaceful and as described in the listing. We visited in mid April during a rainy week so didn’t get to try the pool but it looks lovely. The house itself is a converted chapel and the recent renovations are very nice. The area is quiet but a short drive to Cortona and an hour from the Brunello wine region. All in all a very nice stay thank you Denyse!

My family and I we had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa, surrounded by the magical atmosphere of the Umbria countryside. There is nothing we can complain about,everything was perfect,the swimming pool added a plus especially during the 2022 July’s heat wave! The pool was well maintained and daily cleaning service was provided by the owner’s handy man. We really hope to come back next year and make more unforgettable memories at the Hilltop Villa-Orvieto

We chose Il Sole del Sodo because it had 6 en-suite rooms, a pool, was close to a town and a train station and had a well- regarded host who could provide extras like breakfast, dinners, cooking classes and olive oil tastings e.g. Claudia! While rustic, the villa’s charm and peaceful spaces draw you right in and Claudia’s hospitality is unsurpassed. The villa fronts to the road to Cortona and backs to a field of sunflowers. Our family and friends dined on the private patio and found a back way to walk up to Cortona for exercise. A unique and wonderful experience!

From the very first inquiry about the property Ken was so responsive and helpful in our decision making. He answered my millions of questions quite patiently, understanding that we were making the decision for an entire family with one holiday a year! We made the right decision without a doubt. Ken’s home and property is much more beautiful than even the pictures can describe. The view from the patio/pool is fabulous with lake Trasimeno in the distance. The olive groves, the grape vines, the landscape was incredible. The setting and the privacy cant be beat. Our group up of 11 loved it. The kids loved exploring the flora and fauna and spent a lot of time in the natural surroundings and the fabulous pool The huge table on the patio was so much fun to sit around with candlelight and wine feeling so blessed to be there. There is a large family table inside as well. It had everything we needed, the casetta was amazing as well. It was perfect and idyllic. We will be back soon!!

Il casale di Annale & Bruno è piuttosto appartato ma incantevole. Ristrutturato di recente e con cura, offre un piacevole panorama e tutte le comodità. Raggiungibile attraverso una lunga strada sterrata, offre un luogo di relax e convivialità. Piscina e barbecue in muratura rendono il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Posizione comoda per raggiungere Perugia e le altre principali mete turistiche

Great villa!! We were a group of three families with 6 kids and the house was perfect! Great pool, and wonderful gardens. Recommend to anyone.

Isabella and Alessandro were extremely accommodating, and always on hand when we needed help. We would definitely stay here again. We were a group of 13 with 3 small babies. The Villa was spacious and beautiful. There are 4 double bedrooms with en-suites in the main house, and 3 separate apartments with their own kitchenettes. There were no baths, so our friends with babies had to get creative in sinks or paddling pools. We arrived in Italy in the middle of a heatwave so spent most of our time cooling off by the pool, which was kept in good order by Alessandro every morning. There were comfy sun loungers and a large shaded table for lunches. Each guest gets a bath towel but no beach towel for the poolside, so don’t forget to pack one. They were able to provide two fans. A couple of guests bought more fans because it was so hot but it was possible to keep the rooms cool if you opened the windows to allow airflow but kept the shutters closed. However, some guests did find the mosquitos problematic. Accessibility: The Villa sits on top of a steep hill, so if you’re taking a car, make sure it’s got a good sized engine to take you and your passengers up it. Supermarkets are a 10-15 minute drive away. Kitchen We were able to cater for everyone using the kitchen in the main house, which has an oven and gas stove top. We also made use of the fire grill in the out house, but it’s worth checking with Alessandro how to use it. We had to buy staple ingredients such as oil, salt and pepper. Admin We were asked to provide evidence of our ID documentation on arrival and pay tourism tax.

From a warm welcome with cut meat, bread and cheeses, Maria Pia could not have been more helpful. She suggested some local restaurants and was quick to respond to any questions we had. Villa Giara is in a spectacular hillside location looking out across the plain to Lake Trasimeno and Castiglione del Lago. The picturesque villages of Paciano and Panicale are only a couple of minutes drive away. Both have cafes, bars and restaurants. The grounds surrounding the villa are kept immaculately, flowers adding a splash of colour and the trees providing shady areas if needed. The pool has a paved surround with seating and loungers and the view from here is superb as are the sunsets. We would unreservedly recommend a stay at Villa Giara. And Maria Pia is a fantastic host, she went the extra mile to make our stay an unforgettable one.

Nous avons passé un séjour formidable dans la maison de Luisa qui est encore plus belle que sur les photos. Luisa a été plus que réactive quand nous lui avons demandé des choses. La piscine est sensationnelle et le calme des alentours top pour se reposer. Le Wi-Fi est un peu faible mais rien de grave car l'important est d'apprécier les équipements de la maison.

Her warm, down-to-earth personality made our stay not only comfortable but genuinely special. What made the experience even more memorable was her recommendation to try her father’s amazing Roman cuisine, perfectly paired with local wines. It was an unforgettable meal and a true highlight of our trip. The farmhouse itself is beautifully located in the heart of Tuscany. It’s the perfect base for exploring nearby cities and the stunning countryside. Thanks to the central location, we were able to easily travel around and soak in all the beauty Tuscany has to offer. Abbiamo avuto un'esperienza fantastica presso il loft di Enrico ed Alessandra. Host eccezionali: cordiali, gentili, proattivi e sempre disponibili. Hanno reso il nostro soggiorno davvero piacevole con la loro accoglienza amichevole. La villa è situata in una posizione perfetta nella campagna umbra, tra Assisi, Perugia e altri meravigliosi borghi, come Spello. La tranquillità del luogo è impareggiabile e la possibilità di osservare le stelle la notte, distesi sul prato, è un'esperienza magica. È anche un luogo ideale per ammirare le stelle cadenti nel periodo di agosto, e la vista su Assisi di notte è davvero speciale, aggiungendo un tocco unico al soggiorno. Un'altra grande caratteristica della villa è la piscina, perfetta per rinfrescarsi nelle giornate calde. Enrico si è preso cura della piscina, pulendola ogni giorno, il che ha reso il tutto ancora più piacevole e rilassante.

Casa molto originale, allegra e divertente. Tutto curato, sia gli accessori che la biancheria. Comodissima. Giardino e utilizzabile come parte integrante dell’appartamento. Panorama bellissimo su Assisi. Host sempre disponibile. Per la nostra vacanza di famiglia non potevamo desiderare di meglio!

Very responsive to the few minor issues we had - even went so far as to pay for our lunch via bank transfer at a local Fattoria (farm) that only took bank transfer which was incredibly kind! The house is really special and secluded, epic pool and a pizza oven that was pretty special. I would recommend getting a nice big car to get there/get around in Umbria - some of the roads/tracks are pretty interesting (for a city mouse like me) but it's the price you pay to really be in nature. The kids loved the hammocks and Luca made sure we had a great time.

We loved our time in the villa! Gian Mario was awesome to rent from. The villa has amazing views, beautiful pool, friendly host/family. And we are even more grateful for Gian Mario's willingness to drive us where we wanted to go! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality! We will be back and stay longer next time!
