Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Boone

This was our second time staying at Megan‘s place. It’s beautiful, cozy and a pristine location in the mountains above Boone with easy access to Boone, Blowing Rock, and surrounding areas. The accommodations are comfy, the amenities plentiful, and that mountain stream water tastes SO good. We hope to come back again some time.

My wife and I needed a quick getaway and Mandy's place was perfect. We decompressed by taking in the mountain views from the porch. My wife and dog loved the porch swing. This place is very pet friendly and accommodating. Past guests complained about pet hair but we did not notice. The bed was super comfortable and the sitting room was perfect to take in the mountain views throughout the day. The little mulch area was just enough space for our pups to stretch their legs and relieve themselves. The binder was full of great suggestions on things to do and places to eat. Would definitely stay here again.

We’d loved staying at Brenna’s place! The hot tub and heated floors in the bathroom were a hit for the adults, and the toys were a huge hit for my toddler! We had a great time and would definitely stay again.

What a lovely place! We enjoyed the comforts of this sweet home. The views from the decks and large windows were quite a treat. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and bedding, and a great assortment of games. Convenient location. Would like to return the next time we visit Beech.

Taryne is a great host! Exactly as described and it was perfect. Close to the town - about a 5 min drive. I battled with the WiFi, sent a text and she responded immediately. It’s a gorgeous house and love the layout with the two en-suite bedrooms. Gorgeous view, everything we needed and spotlessly clean. Highly recommend and wouldn’t look for anything else if I come to West Jefferson again. Thank you for being a great host, Taryne.

This was the perfect house to stay in for my graduation. It wasn’t too far from App and had everything we needed. Angela was responsive and timely whenever contacting her. The book in the living room was fun to look through.. I’m glad more people have been able to enjoy this space. We will be returning soon!

We really enjoyed our stay! Great spot for families, very private and peaceful. Good location, close to all the hiking, fishing and things to do in Boone. Appreciated the instructions on all the appliances. Connie was very accommodating and responsive. Would love to come back another time, especially with the pool opening up with the warmer weather!

We had a wonderful stay at Matt’s cabin! The cabin was clean, cozy, and perfectly suited for our getaway. We had a great time here. The house was beautiful and the host thought of everything to make it as kid friendly as possible. It’s so helpful when traveling with 1 and 4 yr old to already have things like a pack n play and toys at the destination! We would stay here again.

This place was so peaceful and relaxing. We fished directly off the deck and could see the fish from there also. We attempted to find the steps down to the water a few homes over but we weren’t able to locate them. We loved that the home was back off the road but still very close to town and many local places. The neighborhood was very quiet and well maintained. Everything exceeded our expectations for the home and location!! The only suggestion I can give is for a WELCOME binder with lists of local restaurants and other attractions and clear instructions to the steps down to the water. Also, include a checkout checklist. And maybe a book for all visitors to sign and leave a word about their visit and where they are visiting from! Just ideas I have seen in other past rental homes! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave!

This is my 4th time staying at Tonyia’s cabin for work! It was sparkling clean as usual! They have everything you need with kitchen supplies, bathroom supplies, etc. The location is the best in the area. Land Harbor is absolutely beautiful this time of year. They have SO many amenities and it’s beautiful to drive around and hike around the trails and parks in the area. The trees, flowers, and nature are beautiful! It’s a must stay cabin!

Very comfortable lots of space very relaxing would love to stay again

This was our 2nd time staying here! We love it! So peaceful yet close enough to lots of places and activities! We stayed the first time in Feb 2024 to go SnowTubing at Hawksnest which was close by and this time we checked out the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster which was also very close by! Truly a gem of place ..especially for this fam of 5! We will be back!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Abril and Christophers place. Location was great for access to the mountain biking trails.

Loved our stay! It was the perfect location for our weekend trip and we really enjoyed the place. The bed was super comfy and we really appreciated all the amenities of the home and neighborhood.

Gorgeous view of grandfather mountain! The space was cute and tidy and the backyard space was by far the highlight! Loved the fire pit area and the lounge chairs where you could just lay under trees and watch the mountain. The bathroom was small for 2 people and the shower grout looked a little dirty. Other than that the stay was great and the location is awesome! We loved mountain dog coffee which is only ~5 minutes away!

Tranquil beautiful setting. We enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to a babbling Creek and enjoying the cool fresh Mountain Air. Enjoyed a stroll by the pond and watched the frogs and a chipmunks frolic. Very comfortable rooms and beds. Nicely furnished with comfortable seating and kitchen at all the needed amenities. Will definitely return again soon.

Absolutely stunning home and majestic views of the mountains! Nancy was such a sweet host, very helpful and accommodating. She was an absolute pleasure to meet.

Walter gave us an amazing place to stay for our anniversary weekend. Very secluded and private, which is something we were looking for. We felt right at home when we walked in and wish we could take this cabin back home. Everything was very tidy, well organized and we didn’t have to go looking for anything. We didn’t get to use the fire pit because it rained a majority of the weekend, which we were bummed about, but that didn’t stop us from sitting outside and listening to the sound of the river, rain and frogs. Very peaceful! Being so close to the river it made it very easy and quick to run down and throw a few casts in the river. Thank you Walter for the very comfortable stay. This place is on our list of places to hopefully return to!

Hands down, one of my favorite airbnb! Spectacular views, beautifully decorated space, awesome sitting areas. We were in town celebrating the wedding of my college roommate's daughter, and the space was perfect for three couples. Can't say enough great things about it. Brian was incredibly responsive as a host. The location is a very short drivable distance from Blowing Rock, not that you may ever want to leave the airbnb. Highly recommend!

I had a great stay at Jennifer's place. The cabin is so peaceful and feels very secluded while still being accessible to the restaurants and shopping in Boone. Jennifer was very responsive and helpful with any questions, and there is full binder of suggestions for the area. There were nice little touches for anyone traveling with dogs as well. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this cabin!

This was the perfect prelude to our wedding week and a great place to stay for the All Star Race. Host was responsive and the cabin matched all the photos. Great experience.

5 star stay - the location was about as perfect as you can get for outdoor adventures, and the cabin was exactly what we needed. The space was clean, has all amenities you’d need but the outdoor space is where the magic is at. The outdoor shower is really awesome and it was nice to be able to use the sauna as well. Highly recommend Babel Tower hike for a great view.
