The cottage is perfect for relaxing but for those wanting to explore the local area, Duddon Sands is less than 20 minutes away on foot and there are plenty of fells to discover. Kendal Town Centre is a 20 min walk for the shops/Brewery Arts Centre/Bus & Kendal Rail Station. TRAVELLING: For guests travelling by rail - Oxenholme Rail Station is a 7 min taxi drive. J36 & J37 on the M6 are approx 10 min drive.

The Old Potting Shed is a romantic hideaway for two set in the walled garden of the owners' house with its own private entrance. The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.

Braeside Studios- Garden View Room

Braeside Studios is a detached stone built building adjacent to our family home. We have 2 purpose built, self contained studios each with private entrance door, ensuite shower room, drying cupboard, mini breakfast kitchenette (fridge, sink, kettle, toaster) and seating area. Both our rooms are clean and contemporary and focus of comfort and practicality. The garden view room has a double bed and the riverside room has a king sized bed. You are welcome to share our garden.
