A $10 donation covers a meal for someone in need. This region of North Carolina was severely impacted by Hurricane Helene. The destruction is heartbreaking, but the community is rebuilding. Many businesses and walking trails remain closed, so keep that in mind.

We loved our stay! Everything we wanted to do was in close proximity and the recommendations for food were amazing! Our stay was peaceful and the cottage itself was lovely.

This cabin is well decorated, maintained, and homey. The hosts were so sweet and accommodating even left a sweet hand written note and gift for my wife’s birthday. The only thing we didn’t like was how close it proximity it was to the main house and the amenity of the fire pit feeling like it was in a shared space while we wanted a romantic private weekend. It being a guest house was disclosed in the description however was our fault that we didn’t fully read the full description. We enjoyed exploring the town, food was great but closed early even on the weekends (9pm) and catawba falls was beautiful! We would recommend this location and the hosts in a heartbeat.

I am an avid hiker and not from north carolina so i have stayed in many cabins. This was by far my favorite. It was Absolutely beautiful and spotless. James provided a quick tour, was very responsive to messages, and very kindly told us we could help ourselves to what was in the kitchen. 10/10 we would absolutely come back.

Big backyard was perfect for the dogs. The Cottage was just as described Very clean with everything we needed for the weekend. We contacted Brandon once for broken blowdryer and he offered to run one over in a couple hours. Very responsive and accommodating. We will stay again

What a perfect spot! Our little family, including our dog, loved David’s place. The fenced in back yard & well stocked kitchen were highlights. As others have noted, it is on a busy road, but from the backyard you can’t really tell — it feels very private. We would absolutely come back and stay again.

This cottage is perfect! It is located in a quiet area. Francia's place is perfect for a weekend getaway with your dog. My miniature Schnauzer used the doggy door immediately. She loved the backyard. Everything about this place is comfortable! We will definitely stay again!

The stay was amazing. It was clean, to the point I would say it was spotless. Plenty of amenities are provided. The cottage was temperature controlled and made me and my girlfriend feel at home. I would definitely recommend. For its quality, the cottage is a very cheap stay! It could definitely be more pricey because of how nice it is.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my fiancés birthday in Saluda as well as staying at Karen and Katie’s place. It’s an absolute adorable house that was perfect for the two of us and our service dog. Location was peaceful and exactly what we were looking for! Would definitely go back!

We enjoyed our extended stay at Geode Cottage. Katherine and Adam were wonderful hosts and very helpful. The cottage is located in a cute area of East Flat Rock which gives guests close proximity to the Village of Flat Rock, Laurel Park, Hvl, Avl, Greenville SC and a short drive to the waterfalls and Brevard. Highly recommend this cozy cottage and its peaceful backyard. Thank You!!

It was a pleasure to stay at Hilary's home for 2 nights. The location is wonderful; it is an easy 10-15 min drive to downtown but it still feels very secluded. The home was clean, modern, and very spacious for 2 people and a dog! I definitely recommend staying here if you are coming to the area.

We only spent one night here, but I would definitely return when in the area again. The house was so clean and comfortable. We loved sitting in the front patio playing cards. I really appreciate the supplied coffee and half and half!

Our family truly enjoyed staying at this perfect cottage on Jane’s farm. Jane is by far the kindest, most wonderful host I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting through Airbnb. The whole family loved the farm; everything was perfect from the nearby creek to the personal farm tour that Jane gave us (with the help of her sweet pups Cap and Zip). We all had fun interacting with the sheep, donkeys, horses, and chickens. The cottage was the perfect size for our family of four and the location gave us the peaceful getaway we were looking for while still having quick and easy access to Asheville and Black Mountain. We hope to be able to come again sometime and would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful stay at the happy red cabin! It’s a special place perfect for unwinding and unplugging. The town of Saluda has excellent food and lots of nature around to explore. The cabin is comfortable and clean, also private and quiet. We will definitely return!
