Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Burke

This A-frame is just so perfect. The location to Franconia State Park and ALL of the activities there was the best. The cabin itself if insanely clean and looks exactly like the pictures. It’s cozy and curated to feel like you are in your own little (5 star) summer camp. We had the best stay and would return again if we’re ever in the area! Book it!!

Perfect place for a staycation, the views from the hot tub were peaceful. Wish there was more to do around though. Our hosts were great and very helpful :)

Staying at this home was a wonderful experience. The house was in pristine condition, with everything clean and organized. The view was breathtaking and the photos on AirBnb represented the home well. Brittany was responsive and helpful, on-top of being kind and understanding. The coffee station was a real plus! We greatly enjoyed our stay and would return if possible.

We couldn't have imagined a more perfect space and location. Felt like a true escape and an absolutely charming and comfortable retreat. The style, appointments and brightness of the home, as well as the natural beauty and property, made for a quintessential vacation experience. Donna was a perfect host and we had absolutely no concerns or issues during our stay. We could not have asked for a more enjoyable experience and cannot recommend this property or host more highly.

Very tranquil place, very clean shower, comfortable bed, great amenities, lots of magazines and easy to use television. Very short distance from Montpelier. Nice bird variety, lovely flowers, you can hear the river from the apartment. Bridge is cool, river bank is fun, chairs outside.

We had a fantastic stay here! So insanely beautiful, peaceful, quiet. The apartment is very charming and spacious. I do think its kind of silly Airbnb won't let them list the interior room as a bedroom. It is a large room and nice dark sleeping space. I really appreciate they allow dogs. We had no issues and really enjoyed out stay! We will be back.

This is a magical place. If you need a rejuvenating retreat by yourself or with someone you love, this is the place. Every bit is intentional and feels thoughtful. The reading/bath area is so beautiful and sitting with a cup of coffee, candle burning, bubble bath, and a book, I felt like I was in a movie. Valérie and Bruno are also very helpful with questions or recommendations we needed. If you’re looking for a place with stuff to do near by, this isn’t the place, but if you want a cozy cottage feel romantic get away, there isn’t a better place.

This was the nicest place of the many airbnbs we've stayed at. Lydia and Charlie were helpful and made us feel right at home. As carpenters ourselves we appreciated their high-quality work. The place is clean, super-insulated and quiet, with a very quiet heat/ac mini-split unit. We would definitely stay there again.

thr most amazing host. so friendly and responsive when messaging back in forth. thr views and area were beautiful a 5 min drive down into town. made me not want to leave ! the place was so clean and homey. my son ended up staying and she brought in more towels and a bottle of vermont maple syrup.

the place was even nicer than expected. very spacious and clean. great little fenced in area for the dogs to run around. 15min drive to Jay, and less than 5 min from a good restaurant, gas, and a grocery store. really appreciated the kids toys for our little one too!

Perfect peaceful stay, close to Jay Peak and the Inn's restaraunt is right down the road. Right on the river, we enjoyed being able to do a polar plunge in the woods to start our day! Our pup felt right at home and it's a perfect place to stay anytime of the year

Chris and Melissa's place was perfect. Few minutes from downtown, everything we needed. Spent a few minutes talking to Melissa when we first arrived. Awesome host. Apartment was clean, plenty of space and no clutter. Would stay there again!

We had a wonderful vacation. The cabin is a true gem in the North East Kingdom. Upon entering the house, fresh flowers decorated the rooms and we found a basket of snacks for us and our dog. Leslie and Matt’s passion for decorating made the house cozy and inviting. The grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed walking through the garden, relaxing on the deck, and walking to the river. The food shopping service Leslie and Matt offer is an added bonus. The cabin is also in a perfect location. There are many great hikes and restaurants close by. The North East Kingdom truly delivered with its scenic woods, spectacular summit views, and gorgeous waterfalls. Plus every meal was amazing. Thank you for your hospitality and making our vacation this year a memorable one! You both were responsive, friendly, and such a help before and during our stay. This vacation was exactly what we hoped for: a relaxing retreat among the trees. I wish we lived closer because I’d be back every year.

Nice private location! So quiet and peaceful. Nobody in sight! Loved having the house so close to the car so it was easy to unload after long day of hiking! Could hear the birds chirping and there was even one nesting on the porch! Would definitely stay again! Also loved that the host didn’t have a bunch of rules everywhere and a list of things to do. Was just able to enjoy.

Merle was/is an excellent host. Great communication throughout our stay. Definitely won’t be the last time we go there. Beautiful scenery and wonderful landscapes. We requested some wood for fire pit and there was a small pile waiting for us when we arrived. Super host and we would highly recommend to others. Jeff & Jen

This beautiful place, surrounded by stunning natural scenery, is an amazing vacation spot and the perfect getaway for families. It offers plenty of amenities for cooking, having fun, and even a special spot to roast marshmallows.💯

We have stayed at Pioneer cabin several times now- and it is peaceful and welcoming in each season and with every visit! The kitchen has everything you could want for cooking, and the setting is serene. Our teen sons made memories grilling out, challenging each other to a dip in the chold May lake, and huddling around the firepit telling stories and laughing. My husband and I sat on the porch listening to the loons and soaking up the peace in the mornings. The beds were comfortable, and even on the chilly rainy Saturday the heat and electric fireplace kept it a cozy space to curl up with a good book. Our family is already eyeing the calendar to plan our next visit. Thank you for giving us the joy that Pioneer cabin provides with every trip. We can’t wait to come back!

Super cute area, definitely an authentic rural Vermont stay. Made us feel right at home in the nature. Outhouse made for an interesting new experience, but overall great get away.

My girlfriend and I went to Vermont for a wedding and had a great time, this cabin was great for the two of us to have space away from all the busy events of the wedding and relax. The hot tub was amazing and it was very secluded. Pay close attentions to the drive in instructions, the road referenced in that section of this Airbnb's page is definitely not for a car and is very narrow.
