Cabin holiday rentals in Canton

My wife and I enjoy making weekend trips to Broken Bow. Not so much for Broken Bow, but because the cabin, woods, and mountains are fun. But it is a 3 hour drive, 6 hours round trip. We decided to try this out because it was an hour drive from Dallas. The cabin is very nice. It is very secluded. It is a nice, serene area surrounding by trees with a nice fishing pond out front. We did not fish, but we did watch a crane that swimming and flying in and out of the fishing pond. I worked during the day using very good and reliable WiFi. Our only issue was not being able to make the outdoor speakers work with our streaming device - and the host offered to help - but I just decided it wasn't that important and so I didn't reply to the offer to help. We will be back for sure. Very peaceful. And I really liked the proximity to Dallas. You could go to Lake Tawakoni - we did not. I have been before, but it was not the purpose of the trip. Will stay again and recommend to others.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location!Perfect spot for our weekend getaway! Private and full of nature and views! I hope to stay again in the future! The house was clean and comfy and had everything we needed and more. Hot tub was perfect for a relaxing soak. Highly recommend this jewel!

Beautiful, spacious cottage that was very well appointed and spotless, sitting on a secluded lot on a paved road with next to zero traffic. Beautiful outside, sitting area with fire pit, hot tub, and charcoal grill. Wrap around porch area with comfortable rocking chairs and Adirondack furniture top to place off.

Absolutely beautiful place with direct access to the lake. It was a perfect place for a Father’s Day getaway for my family. It was so peaceful. The kids loved feeding the ducks that were in the lake. I would love to stay here again.

Absolutely love this place!! The WiFi was a little spotty, but other than that, it was a lovely stay! The spa tub was my absolute favorite!! I used it every single night I was there and I love the work and time put into the house! Very aesthetically pleasing!! Loved cooking on the grill!! Would definitely visit again!

It was absolutely amazing. We had a very relaxing weekend. We went to the best BBQ place in glad water. It's called Nobody's T&K ... It was absolutely amazing. They have so many different things to pick from. Go out an give it a try. Pretty sure they have something for everyone.

amazing little house with a beautiful backyard area! my boyfriend and i loved the seclusion and peaceful vibes all around this place. there are so many good places to laze around, whether it’s inside or outside. the backyard was very clean and neat for how large it is. we loved reading in the double swing together. the hammock is big enough for two people to lounge around in. and the hot tub was perfect during the night time! they have very clear instructions on both the airbnb app and inside a book in the house on house rules.

We enjoyed our time at the Cabin. It was nice and peaceful. Mike was great to work with!

This home is absolutely beautiful! My family and I love nature and this home exceeded our expectations. we felt right at home. This home is suitable for those who love the outdoor experience. Nearby Trinity River, Richard Chambers Lake and much more! This home will be our to go home each time we visit to do our Gar fishing and lake adventures 😀.

This was our get away, away from the city life. It was peaceful and relaxing. Just what we were looking for. Our fur babies loved it as well.

The cabin was beautiful. it was so peaceful to sit outside. We saw plenty of deer that came right in the backyard, we also saw some fox. My 7 year old granddaughter loved seeing all of the wildlife. I would definitely stay there again. Just wish I had more time to enjoy the amenities.

My stay was perfect! Wonderful little cabin with beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful and quiet. The owner was very nice and the property was easy to find. The cabin was super clean and looked like the photos. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a Peaceful stay and enjoys nature. The ducks were very cute and the trees were beautiful :). I will definitely come back!

This is one of my favorite spots that we've ever stayed. it was out in the country and very peaceful. We also got to bring a pup and had a blast just hanging out. There's a little loop in the neighborhood to walk. it's almost so really close to the lake and they have a great restaurant called the Lakeside Grill. Highly recommend that place.

If you’re looking for a calm and cozy stay while you’re in Athens, this is definitely the place. I was in town working a job and didn’t want to do the traditional hotel stay. It was the most peaceful at night time. Everything was clean and I felt right at home. If I’m back in town, I’ll be rebooking a stay here. It was very close to the main part of town and MANY food places to choose from. Also nice it was down the street from a Walmart. I did my shopping ahead of time, but always convenient when a Walmart is close by.

This place was wonderful and so beautiful! Perfect for a fun and relaxing girl’s weekend. We absolutely loved it!

We had a great time at the Skip's! The location was honestly beautiful and we had a lovely time swimming in the lake. The house was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed! Checking in and out was a breeze and we had no real issues the entire time! The kitchen was fully furnished so we only had to provide the food/ingredients (and charcoal for the grill), which was really nice! The bedrooms were clean and each one had a tv. The bathrooms were also clean and stocked! They also had some decent board games available! The only "problem" we had was one of our vehicles was a car that was lower to the ground and did not like the steep hills required for going in and out of the driveway. Skip did mention the hills so we weren't blindsided, but our smaller car still struggled. Our truck had no issues, so if you have a car lower to the ground, go very slow (though you still might bottom out)!!

Adorable Country Cottage. Cozy bed. I mentioned to the host that we would be arriving late in the evening, and she left lights on and air conditioning. What a nice surprise. I would definitely stay there again.

Greenponder Ranch is such a beautiful place. This was my family’s second stay and hope to return again. We enjoyed fishing, walking around the area, and enjoyed a fire and roasting marshmallows each evening. Inside we had plenty of space to play games, read and make our meals.

Very peaceful place, good for fishing and just relaxing. The inside was clean, but the deck could be cleaned and swept before arrival.

Beautiful view, lovely homey cottage feel. Very comfortable bed! Host thoughtfully kept coffee and cocoa in the kitchen, very comfortable couch, comfortable porch chairs, everything was relaxing. Loved the sound of the frogs in the evening.
